Royalty AU - Dude, ~285 words

Dominic of Wood was the crown prince of Hogwarts, and most of the time, that fact was easy to forget. He had been punished like any other during training, had worked in the same sorts of conditions they all had, and sat the same exams. 

(The fact he even had to think that sentence was Dom’s fault. But then he’d known that Dom was crazy for quite some time.) 

"I’ve brought my partner to meet you," He could hear Dom saying as he approached the tent, the guards eyeing him. "Now you have to promise to be nice, and don’t break him because I just got him used to me." Jude’s face turned red as he heard laughter from the tent, and suddenly Dom popped out to snag his arm and drag him in. "Uncle, this is Jude of Finnigan. Jude, this is Uncle Ollie." 

He sank to one knee and bent his head. “Your Majesty.”

"Does he do that to you too?" The King asked, gesturing impatiently for Jude to stand up, and Dom grinned. 

"Only in bed." 

"Dom!" Jude yelped, covering his face. It was one thing to know he was involved with a member of the royal family, and it was quite another thing for the King to know.
