I have such a renewed interest in firing up the ole exogenesis fic. I’m excited to incorporate new tech that’s emerged since I last picked it up. Hello ai? Did not exist like this since I last picked up the series. I forget how much I can potentially use it. Since this exists in the future. It’s wild bc I basically have the last book mapped out entirely and it should be a quick write when I get to it. It’s the middle part that’s always been the part that’s giving me trouble and it’s as complex as Matt says cross pollination is to play.

I also reread parts of what is essentially all of the first book. I can feel its datedness. Lmao. Makes me want to go in and update it. I wrote it before James Webb existed lmao. Also it existed in a land where we still used wired headphones as our main listening device.

But. I know I could go back and rewrite book one again and make it even better.

Or I can face the mountain that is book two and march forward.

The point is. I don’t want to give yall the cliff notes of what happens next it deserves to be told written. Besides I have a bucket list item that is to write a book in my lifetime. And this is that project.

Idk. I followed a bunch of new musers and see them still having interest in musefic inspired me.

Also… I can’t get the cryogen riff and I’ve got spies riff and so it keeps putting the fic back in my head.

Anyway hi hello. I also deeply owe @uno-whatimean the rest of this story for helping me out of a tough spot awhile back.
