Yandere Flins who's so cruel but not in the traditional sense
You're a fellow light keeper who voluntarily accompanies the lone fae on patrols. He thinks you're so sweet, wanting to give him company because you think he's lonely. While it's not necessarily the case, such an assumption isn't that unreasonable given his isolated lifestyle.
Whenever you two are out patrols, he purposely leads you to an area saturated with creatures of the Wild Hunt. And then makes himself scarce before you can even realize what he's doing. Then, the Wild Hunt rears their flickering imitations of heads and you're left frantically trying to fend them off, terrified to tears because there's no way you alone could defeat them. Just as hope seems lost, Flins appears and with a swift burst of his abilities, the battlegrounds grow silent once more. And you're practically clinging to him, half scolding him for running off and half singing his praises for saving you.
He does it not so much to where it seems suspicious, but enough so that he basically pavlovs your mind into becoming dependant on him as you'd associate his presence with safety and crave the security he provides. Which makes you stick around a lot more. Even if it comes with the price of your terror everytime you're in danger.
Such a cruel, cruel man.
