what is your favorite scene between mike and briggs on graceland? :)
Ahh hi friend!!! Oh my god I have been thinking about this ask for AGES! It's so hard to pick my fav because Paul and Mike have so many scenes that make me feral. Their relationship is insane and there's so many scene that make me rage and make me smile and god how do I pick ONE!?
So since I can't narrow it down to 1 I'm going to share my favorite 2 and I think this will really highlight my bias towards Mike whump 😂
First up is when Mike gets stabbed. The way Briggs takes care of him here is everything to me and the fear and pain on Mike's face but that little nod cause he believes Briggs when he says he'll be all right. (ahh early Mike when he was so full of trust.) The touches though, THE TOUCHES. The soft way Briggs touches Mike's face to soothe him, the way he lays down the rag and holds Mike's hand. UGH I LOVE IT
And how can I NOT talk about 3x08. I think I'm physically incapable of not talking about 3x08 when someone asks me about Graceland lol. Look we've got the hand holding while Mike cries on the bed because he hurts and just want to feel better. The forehead kiss once Mike wakes up in the ice bath? The part before the detox when Briggs is handcuffing him and telling he can do this? Kill me now.
Other notable scenes include:
Mike punching Briggs in the face. I cheered so fucking much when he did that.
