If you're a Papyrus fan you might have heard of the Papyrus is Gaster theory.

I did and even though I don't think it'll happen I like how it would compliment papyrus' backstory since he doesn't really have one. It's an interesting concept why not make an AU out of it.

THE STORY

The main story is set on the past, years before the events of undertale and will explain what exactly led Gaster to shatter across time and space and how Papyrus came to be! It will also fluctuate to the present in a post-pacifist timeline where Papyrus is figuring some stuff out.

are people allowed to use inspiration from your au concept, aka gaster is papyrus idea but change it up lots to make it their own but still similar concept?

totally not asking because your work inspired me so much to make my own version but didn't want to look like a copycat-

but seriously your whole all of your au concept is amazing and it just really makes me happy to see my boy paps get more attention.

YES!! I've said this before but the reason I made this AU is because I was super hyperfixated on the Papyrus is Gaster concept but there was almost NOTHING about it

So I made it myself!! It was not my original idea, some people have used this concept before and I was inspired by that! I took it and shaped it my own way to create this story :]

You can all use this concept, it does not belong to me and I would LOVE to see more of it, REALLY, I NEED TO SEE HOW PEOPLE RUN W THIS IDEA THEMSELVES

It was my original intention to make the concept more popular, but I think some people see me as the owner of the concept and I'm not asljskdj

Yup! I'm just very busy constantly w art school and also my brain isn't collaborating

I was working on the next pages recently but then I got hit w finals

Fanart for my favorite AU!

Forgettable AU has a very special place in my heart. I found it right when my Undertale obsession was starting to fade, and it brought it back full force. I kid you not — all my friends have heard me yap about it nonstop. It’s actually what got me onto Tumblr and why I even made an account!

The comic is so freaking beautifully drawn and the story is genuinely so interesting. I’ve reread it several times and it never gets old. It’s also encouraged me to work harder on my own art and keep improving. For that, I’m really grateful.

Omg guys, if Gaster is green and the opposite color of green is red, and Papyrus is red, but he's also yellow and blue, which make green when combined...

That means Papyrus is Gaster guys omg.../j

(You know, at some point in development Wingdings WAS mostly green, which I find very funny now, ended up going w cyan/teal because Papyrus is technically more of an orange-red color....not pure red....but yeah)

Hi so does papy's voice still act weird if recorded or is that only a wingding's thing? If papy's memories ever come back (wich I doubt will happen) Will he go back to his og font or can he physically can't or would he prefer his cerent one.

Nah, his current font is regular + it actually has letters, so it sounds okay while recorded

About the second question, I think he would stick to who he is right now, he built that identity, and he's mostly pretty happy w himself and what he has achieved c:

ANYWAY- I noticed Papyrus’s neck is shaded oddly, and (tho I’m not sure if it’s confirmed) Gaster fell into the CORE before ending up scattered across the Timelines

Are the scars(?) on Pap’s neck actually burn marks?
