ruby literally has the WORST bedside manner. she’s so, so bad at comforting people or taking care of them. this is good for eliot because he doesn’t respond well to kindness. this is bad for everyone else because literally everyone else responds well to kindness. it’s not that she isn’t a nice person, she just has no idea how to make anyone feel better and it’s turned into a weird insecurity thing for her because vaughn is quite possibly the most kind and understanding person on earth and then when he needs help she has NO IDEA what to do
