The woman drew her hand up to her head, flinching at the IV that was lodged in her median cubital vein. What… had happened? She felt dizzy with the more she tried to remember. Nothing. Absolutely nothing came to. Before she spoke, she looked to the male and studied him. Still, there was nothing.

"I…. I’m sorry." Came a fumbled whisper, almost painful sounding. Her eyes fell to the cloth that rested on her lap, and slowly moved to focus the noises of the room. Her other hand rose to push back her blonde locks, returning sight to the other. It was difficult, but a smile was forced onto her face. "I don’t know who you are, but thank you."

Despite the kind gesture seeming awkward, she felt better with someone being there when she had came to. Someone. Anyone. She knew she wasn’t alone.
