I personally think chen yuzhi is way too good at holding all his emotions in and not dealing with them properly or just being very quiet about them, despite everything he says to jiang yuelou, what do you think?

Oh, for sure. He's definitely the type of person who like...gives out the advice but doesn't use it on himself? Like, he tells Jiang Yuelou to talk about his emotions and his feelings and to not keep them bottled up inside because that's not healthy, but when it comes to himself he's just like

oLike sir...take your own fucking advice and TALK ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE FEELING. People can't fucking help you go through your shit if you don't fucking talk about it. And I'm sure that Jiang Yuelou would want to help because he would do anything to help Chen Yuzhi; hell he'd even burn the world down for him if he asked.

And I also think that since he's in this position of a healer/doctor/a helper...he kind of feels like...his emotions/feelings don't really matter? Like, they're not as important as Jiang Yuelou's feelings or they can be put on the back burner and be dealt with later because right now Jiang Yuelou needs help (and I'm not blaming Jiang Yuelou, don't take this as that). But like...Chen Yuzhi is so used to just giving, giving, giving that he doesn't really think about himself, like I said. He thinks his feeling and emotions and problems are not as important as Jiang Yuelou's problems, which is so wrong, but when you have that type of mindset, you can't...really make yourself realize that "hey, my emotions and feelings are valid too and i need to talk about them with somebody.

But yeah, anon, you're right, Chen Yuzhi is very good at hiding his emotions and feelings and brushing them off like they're nothing and I swear to god, Jiang Yuelou just needs to sit him down, tell him that his feelings are valid and that he'll listen to him and then just have Chen Yuzhi spill his fucking guts because lets be honest...Chen Yuzhi has been through some SHIT
