Currently watching Stranger Things.. and of course I gaf about Byler (and subsequently following along with the the Byler theories and evidence people have been preaching.)
And yeah, of course I see all the evidence and of course I wholeheartedly believe that those two fuckers are extremely gay for each other. Like duh.
But with the second part of season 5 coming out very soon I can’t help but feel a large amount of dread for these gays.
Everytime I see a post explaining how Byler endgame will (hah) happen.. and how there’s all this evidence that they will end up together…… it reminds me EXACTLY how everyone reacted before the 4th season of Sherlock.
How there was all this evidence proving that Johnlock was going to be canon and how everyone was supposedly talking about it. All the theories. EVEN HOW THE WRITERS/ACTORS REFERRED TO IT!!! Everyone thought that it was going to be canon…
EVEN HOW Byler shippers I’ve seen have made THEORY videos on it!!! Like hello. The EXACT same thing as what Johnlock shippers did.
I’m sure this is like common knowledge (and this is probably common for most shows and their fandoms) but I just wanted to talk about it. I live laugh love Byler… but can’t help but wonder that this will end up just like Sherlock. A big queerbait. :[
ANYGAYS I hope that it doesn’t end up like my beloved Johnlock.. and PRAY TO THE YAOI GODS ALMIGHTY that my sweet little queers will become canon.
