How could she get through to him? Was it even worth it to try?! The fact that Akira was pleased with the success of the Phantom Thieves wasn’t innately a bad thing, but the method he’s chosen to utilize it was... it smacked of everything that they originally fought against. How was subjugating anyone and everyone just? She knew, she just knew that false justice was all that they stood for, and the thought sickened her. But how could she make him see that?!

...he wasn’t the same boy she followed into Hell after Hell, that much was for sure.

She wished that Mona was still around. He’d listen and help her, for sure--but in truth, she didn’t dare even consider the idea of mentioning her doubts to the others. She suspected her feelings of unease were shared, but... they all knew their leader was compromised. And more importantly, their safety couldn’t be guaranteed if they protested too strenuously. The long game was the only way, a thought that earned a sigh.
