Zodiacal Essential Oil Spells.

Zodiacal oils, as inpsired by the the Complete Formulary of Magical Oils by Celeste Rayne Heldstab, are essential oil spells that are designed to assist in evoking the characteristics and features that are associated with those specific zodiac signs of astrology. Therefore, here are Zodiacal essential oil spells that I have personally created, inspired by Celeste R. Heldstab, to evoke the four categories of the zodiac signs in astrology.

Remember, these spells are specifically meant to be utilized in an essential oil diffuser, but they can be diluted to rest in a satchet underneath one’s pillows.

Ethereal Oil for the Air energies…

1/3 Sandalwood oil, 1/3 Clary Sage oil, 1/3 Lavender oil, and 1 drop Cypress oil.

Archer Oil for the Earth energies…

¼ Rosemary oil, 2 drops of Cedarwood oil, and 3 drops of Eucalyptus oil.

Dante’s Inferno Oil for the Fire energies…

1/3 Rose oil, ½ Jasmine oil, 1 drop of Tea tree oil, and 2 drops of Sage oil.

Atlantic Oil for the Water energies…

¼ Lemon oil, 1/3 Chamomile oil, 1 drop of Orange oil and 2 drops of Peppermint oil.

Misinformation Correction: An Apology.

Good morning, my fellow witches.

It has been recently brought to my attention by an amazing individual, known as shintowitchling on Tumblr, that I have provided incorrect information as to what I believed to be, and was taught to be by a white American, yoga teacher, “chakras,” when in actuality chakras specifically come from Hindu traditions, and, therefore, are not meant to be used outside of their original, respective religion and culture.

Thus, the usage of chakras in Wicca is incredibly disrespectful to their religion and culture, as well as the century old traditions that are still practiced to date.

Once again, I would like to formally apologize for contributing to the incorrect information that is spread about chakras, and have since removed the post and will no longer partake in using “chakras” in my craft, and I suggest that all fellow witches reading this post do the same as I currently am.

The Birth Chart in Astrology.

First and foremost, this informative text is meant to explain and help the reader better understand and interpret their birth chart for their personal usage throughout their journey in the craft, especially if the reader is a beginner.

With that information stated, it is important to note that to an astrologer, the birth chart is essentially a map of an individual’s life. This is because the birth chart basically provides a photograph of the moment you were born in extreme detail based on the planets alignments in the location of where you were born.

Therefore, in this informational post, and in your astrological journey, the biggest step you will take to begin is by creating your birth chart to better understand the map of your life. In order to do so, however, you will need to know the location and the exact time of your birth in order to receive correct results, so I highly recommend taking a look at your birth certificate before moving forward in utilizing CoStar to map out your natal chart. After this is complete, you’ll want to identify the planets in signs in your birth chart because it is a necessity in order to better understand yourself as an individual and your later paths in life that will be explained through astrology.

Therefore, this will be your first exercise: be sure to fill in all the blanks for your birth chart in order to better understand the aspects later explained in this post.

With winter amongst us, seasonal affective disorder is bound to, unfortunately, thrive, therefore, this spell for uplifting spirits is meant to help improve mood.

Remember, this spell is meant to be utilized specifically through essential oils.

To begin, this spell will require four drops of lavender oil, two drops of sandalwood, and three drops of blue agave oil into an essential oil diffuser, or this spell can be utilized through the methods of bathwater or a pillow sachet.
