“I know we should try to avoid paradoxes and all that, but considering that I probably won’t remember this encounter, I actually had a few questions. Do I eventually save River? And my second question, what is waiting for me at Trenzelore? I’ve already been to the grave with Clara, I can’t imagine it’s anything good.”
“Oh my, been a long time since I wore that face, hello Doctor!” |Hope you don’t mind?|
The Doctor stared at the woman in front of him, his expression similar to that of a deer caught in headlights. Did he hear her correctly?…
“What?” He asked, reaching in his pocket to grab his sonic. He scanned it over her, becoming even more confused when he read the results. “Did you say ‘wore that face?’”
“I’m The Doctor and I can be intimidating when I want to be!” She puts on best angry face she could. Too bad she didn’t have those attacking eyebrows anymore. “See? intimidating!”
“You are the Doctor, comprised of morning sunlight and babies’ laughter, and yes, despite this, I know that you could knee me in the nuts, drop me hard, and snap my neck if you still had the inclination. It is a fact, and I impenitently confess that i find it desperately sexy.”
The cyborg and the ghost.
( for @ohbrillixnt )
It’s been days now since she escaped that hell of a ship. Missy should be dead by now but here she was, wandering around in the streets of London in the XVIII century.
Every little cell of her body was burning but she would not regenerate. The shot hadn’t stop her regenerations hopefully but it didn’t provoke one and she was alive but broken. The Doctor had left her to die. And she wanted revenge for being given up on.
For now, she just needed to recover from her ‘back from the grave’ experiment and hoped that no one would annoy her. That was until she bumped into some girl as she walked down the street. “Oi! Pay attention you little ant!”

“I promise that no matter what happens, you will never have to worry about me choosing them again,” The Doctor said with determination, a smile gracing her features, “I swear on it.”
“That’s quite a vow to make,” the Master commented. She seemed serious, and a good part of him liked the idea of finally having her back, without them getting in the way all the time, just like it used to be, but there was quite a number of centuries’ worth of evidence to show how much she cared about them.
“Why now?”
@ohbrillixnt brought this on yourself
"What were you doing in a... Police Public Call Box?” Her eyes shifted up towards the massive object behind the woman to read the name, then lowered her attention back towards the lady. She had been BUSY, and she didn’t have a lot of TIME to investigate this. But this was odd, and there was no doubt that the sudden appearence of a stranger would effect her travels in some way today. “It’s the middle of the woods, how did you even get this all the way in here?”
@ohbrillixnt
“Can’t believe I’m saying this.” She muttered, softly. The other hadn’t recognised her yet. In fact, she was unsure if she even knew that there was an issue on the planet at all.
“I need your HELP, Doctor.”
