Send me ‘✂’ and my muse will kill yours. Right now. Brutally, horribly, bloody. Just do it.
The good doctor had come to warn him, maybe even save him but Barry didn’t want to be saved. Why hadn’t he ever realized before how good it felt to shed the burden of his morals? Right, because he was supposed to be a beacon of hope like every other good superhero. The thought alone disgusted him because while he had tried to give everyone else hope, he had lost his own and he deserved better than that.
“I don’t care what my fate's supposed to be,” Barry sneered up at the man where he was lifting him up with the bruising grip he had around his throat. He had come unguarded and unprepared because who really believed that Barry Allen or even the Flash were capable of murder? Maybe if it weren’t for the rage in his eyes, making them glow red, that would still be true. However, it was unfortunate that Kent had come too late and the effects of Rainbow Raider’s powers were already working.
Barry was aware that he was under the meta’s influence but he didn’t care. Letting his rage take control made all the pain and guilt disappear. All he felt was white, hot anger and it was glorious. He wasn’t going to let the pain in ever again and he would kill anyone that tried to make him.
Shoving his hand into the man’s chest was gratifying and he wondered if this was how Zoom had felt when he killed his father. His fingers enclosed around Kent’s heart and he kept squeezing until his eyes held nothing but emptiness. A cruel, self-satisfied smirk formed on his lips and he violently pulled his hand out from the corpse, dropping it onto the ground.
