Ohiko was committed she wanted to help at the lounge to help put Azul's mind at ease...at least that was the plan. about 30 minutes into her shift she ended up slipping while trying to bring dishes back to the sink. dishes crashed into the ground an so does Ohiko though do to the shock of it she sprang up.

"I'm fine!" she declares confidently

"....you're bleeding" Jade stated

"it's just a scratch I'm fine-"

"-no, no you're not" Azul objects taking her gently by the arm to the VIP room onto the couch. he gets out a medic kit "this might sting a little" he ads disinfectant

"ouch!" she winced a little

Azul sighed "i warned you did i not?" he dabs more of it on the cuts before putting on band aids.

"i-i ruined it....i wanted to make you have an easy shift no worries" she sniffled.

"hay no tears" he wiped them away with his thumb "listen to me i would worry for you even if you weren't on shift you're my partner so that comes with the package...an to clarify it's not because i don't trust you it's just cus i know how eccentric you can be wait that sounds back handed that's not what i meant!"

Ohiko reached out an hugged him an held him close "hehe i love you to"

Azul's face lit up he couldn't be more flustered you think he would be used to that phrase by now but he still gets just as flustered as the first time he heard it.

"i...i love you to" he returned the hug "you just being by me eases me you don't need to hurt yourself on my account...not that you do that on purpose"

the hug ended up turning into a cuddle on the VIP couch "tell me if the cuts start to hurt again ok?"

"hmm i will maybe"

"maybe!?"

"well I'm pretty comfy in your arms so even if it starts to sting again i think I'll bare with it to stay like this a little longer"

that got him blushing again he couldn't believe that she could admit that so openly to him. it was nice but it still had him speechless

"well-"

"aww when Jade said that Shrimpy had a slip up i didn't think you'd get to be having fun with Azul after no fair~" Floyd snuck in an was looking over them while they lay on the couch.

"Floyd!?" Azul was now embarrassed how much did he hear!?

"indeed we were so worried about our hard worker only to find out she is wrapped in our bosses tentacles what would your mother think" Jade was on the other side of the room smiling at the hole ordeal

"my tentacles aren't our oi why are neither of your working!!?"

"oh dear did you not realize it was our break time~!"

"why you-" he was about to get up then realized that Ohiko was fast asleep in his arms so he laid back down.

"should we take a picture so you could frame it on your wall later?" Jade says with a grin

"leave me be please"

Kid designs for Alice!

Hati is her adopted, formerly-human daughter. Unlike most adult forests to the young women of their species, Alice did not approach their relationship as a master to an apprentice, but as a mother.

Ohiko is Alice's first son, and the child of Caesarion's half brother. He wasn't especially pleased to have his only-childhood interrupted by his new, crybaby sister.

I had this comic idea in mind for awhile, and I kept postponing it because I worried it was too dark. I wanted to share some lore about the Forests, and introduce Alice’s first child. Caesarion’s child, when he’s born, will be named Ptolemy.
