I realized that I've never actually done an introductory post! So, hi! I'm Ashtan and I'm a creative force of nature. I primarily knit, but I also indulge in crochet, watercolor painting, bookbinding, sewing, clay sculpting, cross stitch, jewelry making... Basically, I'll try any craft once. I'm known for my lace shawls, which usually end up being either huge, complex, and done on a very tight deadline. Usually, it's all three. Other interests include reading (I'm a huge fantasy/Steampunk fiction lover), D&D (running a Tal'Dorei campaign atm!), Critical Role, and a deep love of Harry Potter (Gryffindor or bust). I live with my spouse (13 years together), my little sibling, and a whole menagerie of fur kids. I'm bisexual and polyamorous. I've been with my very lovely girlfriend for over 2 years. I've dealt with having anxiety and depression for nearly my whole life. I try my best to use what I've learned in my own journey to help those around me who deal with their own struggles. For the past three years I've been writing a blog about my creative endeavors, something I'm very proud of. I'm doing my best to be more active on social media, energy levels permitting.
