How long have you been in the CS/OUAT fandom?

I’ve been in the CS and OUAT fandom since May 2016. I followed Pip (pirateherokillian) from The Hunger Games fandom. She was posting gifs from 5B as it was airing in spring 2016. I causally kept it in the back of my mind. When I saw the 5x21 reunion scene in gifs and video, I fell in love. Went down the rabbit hole and here I am.

When did you start shipping Captain Swan?

Like I said before, I saw the 5x21 reunion scene and it was history.

What drew you to this event?

I like to participate in fandom events because you get to collab other talented people in the fandom.

For our betas: Who/what have you beta'd before, or is this your first time? Feel free to give as much info as you like.

I’ve betaed for my friend Jordy on her CS 10 Things I Hate About You AU and a couple pieces for another fandom. I have a degree in Journalism, so I’d like to think I have a way with words. We’ll see.

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event?

I have an interest in fantasy but have never participated in this event before. I look forward to experiencing Captain Swan in new ways and meeting new fans.

I just broke up with someone and that someone has been cheating on me with somebody else and I’m so devastated now I don’t know what to do and right now I am crying in bed and now I need someone to help me please I’m asking please so now I need someone to talk to I’m so angry inside what should I do and don’t tell me about finding another guy shit okay I already did so the guy I found is the one who I’m talking to now and he’s not saying anything to me can you see I’m crying here why don’t you say something to me and do you have any idea what I’m going through right now depression I need help I’m the one who needs help somebody please help me HELP!!!!!

If y’all haven’t read her first chapter yet, GO DO IT!!!! It is sooooo PRECIOUS and LOVELY and I am BESIDE myself with excitement for the next chapter!!!

I loved your 6x5 touch prompt. Killian didn’t get enough time to express his anger and hurt about the prophecy secret, so seeing that in fic is my jam!

I really enjoyed your two doors down story! I can image Mary Margaret noticing Emma and Killian are gone but not worrying about it because they’re having a party for two (unintentional song reference.)

Awww, dude! I’m so glad to hear that! two doors down was definitely a lot of fun to write (once I finally got the time to, haha).

I didn’t want to take the time to spell it out, but Snow had definitely been trying to set them up for ages, despite knowing about Walsh, and that was why she kept inviting both of them to their parties. So she was over the moon to see them finally talking together. And Dave had to calm her down when she noticed they’d left together (because she totally noticed).

I reread some on your scene analyses recently while going through my Captain Swan tag. They were awesome. I also enjoyed the little between the lines pieces you wrote for 3B. All of them fit into the storyline so well. I wish they were canon.

Having moving on to another ship, it showed me how badly Everlark was shorted in the movies. They deserved so much better than what Lionsgate gave them.

RIGHT? I mean, thank goodness for Catching Fire at least, but even still...The amount of content we were absolutely ROBBED of...Like, all the missing kisses, the missing banter, the missing character development, the missing tender scenes...IT ALL HAS ME FEELING LIKE-

(Read your tags on the 6x05 post) I’m totally bitter about most of season 6 CS too. So many poor writing choices.

You mean these

Yes, even if s6 gave us a few beautiful and iconic CS moments, its writing also did them both a disservice IMO, as individual characters and as a couple. It threw a couple of seasons of character development out of the window, and what for? To throw artificial obstacles in their way. Especially Killian was done dirty, more than in previous seasons, and that's to say something. I was so angry on his behalf, and I still am. If it had been a fanfic, I would have noped out and filed it away under ooc and angst for angst's sake.
