What do you do to cheer you up when you're sad?

Leave the house, get on a train, go somewhere by the sea, stand on a pier, buy a new book, have a coffee, look at houseplants, go for a long walk and take the train home, hopefully in a better mood.

Where is the farthest you have been from home?

I can tell you exactly because I get excited and make a note of when I go further than I’d been before

Furthest north: Helsinki Airport, taking off from the northern runway

Furthest south: arriving into Atocha station, Madrid from Barcelona

Furthest east: stood by the Katajanokka ferry terminal in Helsinki

Furthest west: standing in the Pacific Ocean in Port Orford, Oregon

27. What section do you immediately head for when you walk into a bookstore?

Either crime & mystery or classics. I always head to one of those two sections first because that’s pretty much all I read.

49. What’s something that you don’t have a picture of that you wish you did?

I wish I had some photos from my trip to New York in 2009! I took all of the photos on my phone - which was a pink slider monstrosity - and then I lost the phone. I wonder if there are any lurking on my old tumblr account...

Hi! One of my favourite books is Hyperion by Friedich Hölderlin and according to Pottermore, my patronus is a wild rabbit. 🌷 Arwen pleeeease!

i don’t realy have one of my own for her but one of my favorites is this one: “I have a little head-canon that Arwen met Aragorn when he was injured and in Rivendell. Arwen sang to him, not realizing he might have been awake. This, to me, is justified because when Arwen asks him about how they met, and he says “it felt like a dream” he could have been hazed and confused. It’s silly, but it warms my heart to imagine this.”
