as if edith wasn’t in hot shit already, it seemed as though she had to find a way to land herself in even more trouble. she was simply a foolish girl with foolish dreams. it had been those dreams that fueled her to move to the big city in the first place - edith rosario’s gonna be a mega star! instead, she’s working at a bar and trapped in a fine she has no clue to pay off. ( how was she supposed to know that the guy she would accidentally hose down had to be some fire marshall guy? ) anyways, now she’s stuck having to make the impossible suddenly possible. huffing to herself, she decides to leave the rowdy bar - beginning to make her way over to the car where she could hopefully sleep her miseries away. but on the way, she spots a familiar face that makes her quicken her steps. the last person she wanted to see was her. genuine people were rare to come by in this city and just when edith thought she had found one, it turned out to be a sham. “go away,” she shouts over her shoulder, “i’m really not in the mood for whatever half-assed apology you’re cooking up for me.”
