its soo frustrating being a 5h fan lol. like sledgehammer is catchy but i'm not flipping out about it. whats hurting them is what you said, they still haven't found 'their sound'. when you think of ariana, demi, miley, hell even meghan trainor/LM a certain sound comes to mind but with the girls its all over the place. i feel like they dont even have much creative input/arent sure what direction to take their music in either but the inconsistency is whats damaging them. (this is so long sorrry)

no i don't think so, i mean those artist struggled with just the same thing, if you listen to demi's don't forget album or miley's breakout you see their first sound it's totally different from what their music is now, same with 1d... i think lm have been loyal to their sound though, like when their producers sat down with them they already knew what they wanted so that's good. i agree that they need to focus more on their music though, they need to decide what they want to sound like, but i think they're still testing, like checking out if people are gonna like what they put out so they can stick to one thing.

tbh i think 5h is still trying to find their sound an style. i don't think this album is gonna have the single that's gonna make them break through, all i ask it's for the album to do good enough for them to have asecond one. but at this point i'm not really hoping for a mind blowing single anymore. BUT sledgehammer is good, i believe it could do well on charts and radio so let's just hope for the best and wait.
