A ship you’ve abandoned and why? sterek (queerbaiting and bc their relationship is lame), thilbo (didn't quite abandon it but def find it less pleasing than i did before. i kinda dont even care for that anymore tbh), durincest (just..no..idk why i shipped it in the first place)

so i hear you ship thranduil and celeborn. let's hear more about that >.<

GOD YES DO I SHIP ITwhere do I even beginohtywin and I started it with our roleplaying and it escalated pretty quickly. We called the ship silver spring.

They start pretty much as babies, because we go with the Elmo is the father or Oropher, brother of Olwe and Elwe (Thingol) and Celeborn is the son of Galadhon making Thranduil his cousin and Thingol their uncle. So they were both born in Doriath and lived there and fell in love everything was perfect until they realized

oops we're kinda both male and there shall be no heirs for either of us and uncle is very angry so we can't marry

so then Galadriel comes to Doriath and we all know what happens with Celeborn and Galadriel wink wink. And while he marries and loves her, he loves Thranduil too and Thranduil is understandably very down and there is much jelly.

Thranduil marries too but much later, long after the destruction of Doriath, and while he acknowledges his wife as a brilliant woman who rules along with him, he doesn't quite love her as much as he loves Celeborn but das gay and it has no future. But mrs. Thranduil has her own loving lover and she gets along with Celeborn really well because she rocks. She dies from childbirth (bad Legolas) and Thranduil lost his best friend in a way.

So eventually Galadriel sails and now we get to the canon part where Thranduil shares the forest with Celeborn.

And they can finally be together sniff ;_;

my favorite female character: This one is haaard! I love Luna and Hermione equal parts, I don't know if I can choose between them! my favorite male character: Ronald Weasley! Weasley is our king!my favorite book/season/etc:  Oh, I don't know! Probably Half-Blood Prince. :)my favorite episode (if its a tv show)my favorite cast member:  AHHHHH WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME!
