A List of Things I Learned From 2013 That Everyone Should Know
If you don’t want to be in a relationship anymore, thats ok, even if you have no idea why you don’t want it anymore
You always have friends
i’m good at listening so if you guys need to talk i’m here
first kisses are crap and weird and don’t let the world tell you they are magical. you pull away and are like, “was that a bit of spit!?!?!?”
don’t try to make-out during your first kiss (thankfully i did not experience this first hand)
boys can be wayyyyyyy more emotional in a relationship than girls sometimes
DON’T FUCKING PROCRASTINATE
friends can die, and you never see it coming, hold on tight to everyone you love even if you aren’t close to them
people can die, and if they did, would you still judge them as harshly, would you still dislike them, if not then stop.
bad things happen. often. but so do good things, focus on these things, it helps. and good things tend to happen more than bad things.
love isn’t a face to face thing. i have friends that i met online 3 months ago in the impala network that i’m closer to that people i’ve known all my life
boyfriends can be assholes and don’t let them toy with you emotionally (again not 1st hand experience which was worse cause i watched the person i love the most suffer)
be close with your siblings if possible, they, more than anyone else, should know where you are coming from
DON’T EVEN THINK FOR A SECOND THAT YOU AREN’T LOVED OR SHOULDN’T BE HERE. i had several friends have breakdowns and i was so worried for them and i can’t stand the fact that they don’t want to be on this earth and whether or not you think nobody cares for you i can guarantee that at least 5 people do.

go out, be with friends. tumblr is great, but doing things can be even better
