A tiny segment of what I am experimenting on, with some new painting techniques I have learned. 6 months of understanding what my capabilities are and how I can deconstruct a learned behavior and apply the most effective, positive message while trying to understand the darkness that dwells in everyone. How this applies to my art, and how the application of mind, body and soul all working together to create fluidity within the paint itself. The Land of Z// 2019, 18”x18”x2”// • The idea that sprouted this concept was lack of sleep, the migraines that came right after. The nights where restful sleep was and still is much appreciated. The long nights spent counting sheep 🐑 until none were available to be counted. Listening to music is such a lullaby and always follows by a good amount of dreaming. Where do you go when you sleep? The land of z is the idea of sleep, when you lay in your bed at night and go into your head.
