my take on sheep from thunder tower: electrician who was disowned by their family, almost died in an electrical accident, got kidnapped from their hospital bed. they were restored via instant revitalizing device. though clueless about their newfound circumstances, they felt they owed the man who saved their life & employed them despite their catastrophic fuckup. no brainwashing necessary. (they'd be among the first to start seriously questioning porky. albeit too cowardly to do anything about it.)
my oc harper the navy squeal: porky kidnapped this gal cuz she was poor & struggling in life tryin to support her sick dad, thinking she'd appreciate the gesture. but instead she fuckin freaked it cuz, surprise, she couldn't bear to be torn away from her family, esp considering how much they depended on her (porky minch cannot fathom this). got so brain gooped into amnesiac compliance she forgot all about said family for like a decade, and needs therapy for the rest of her life. great job king p 🥲!!
my oc dr gilbert campas the chimera scientist: bioengineering grad who answered a hiring ad and got the job right outta college. the time travel and chimera technology had him starry-eyed, sold from the start. too smart for his own good, at some point he began to grow suspicious of porky's intentions - and whether he'd ever get to go back home. not to worry, though. a low weekly dose of that green shit alleviated his concerns. 😌
my oc colonel hox: a die-hard loyalist who was fed the story about porky being humanity's last hope. she used to be a fuckin republican, she's easily convinced that all the world needs is authoritarian order - and she's more than willing to help enforce it. never gooped. proclaims her loyalty to porky even into the postgame. but it slowly crumbles when she realizes she's given into the sunk cost fallacy, wasting precious years of her life larping as a toy soldier, all for a child tyrant who never cared about any of them 🫠
