i've been watching folks play pokemon champions & learning about competitive history like it's a sport and it's been making me miss my violet team! this is the only team that I've ever trained to lv 100
#my art#pokemon#pokemon violet#scarvio#oinkologne#tauros#arboliva#toedscruel#tatsugiri#iron hands#lacroix is my starter & her teratype is fairy. her go to move was play rough and she was just an all around reliable pokemon#her hubby tauros CocaColaBlak came with electric tera and Wild Charge which was great for me bc i loveee electric + fighting together.#they locked eyes and lacroix said i can fix him#wish i'd drawn him a little bigger lol#Cactus Cooler & Canada Dry were my plant lesbian battle couple. i'm pretty sure these two are my favorites from gen 9#abroliva was really incredible to use i love a good support mon. i gave her bug tera & pollen puff & grassy seed was great w her ability#but Toedscruel is my number 1. such a funny guy really cool concept with a gorgeous color scheme. her tera type was poison w sludge bomb#Powerade i added in the post game after Fanta the Pawmot took me to the e4. i've been dying for an electric/fighting type for generations#and i really liked the two that we got. it was very fun punching things with this guy.#their teratype was fire and they had fire punch#Inca Kola replaced Barqs the dashbun in the post game. I always love a little guy on the team so i didn't mind using him on his own#he was definitely the weakest but i do remember a time when his water absorb saved a fire-tera'd powerade from empoleon's hydro pump lmao#his tera was ice which wasn't great tbh lol but he had icy wind/tera blast#dragon tera would have probably been better but i was deadset on unique types in the post game lmao
