“Shoo,” Kali grinned as he went to mill about the castle until Meeka and her father had woken up from their rest. He still needed to check her over, after all.

A pair of furry faces rounded the hall. Their tails started wagging when they saw him.

"Hello again..."

"New friend!"

Meeka all but bounced alongside him as they walked.

Tsukuyomi walked a bit more sedately, clearly nervous to be in the castle halls as he always was. They finally made it out the main gate and he breathed a little in relief as they crossed the bridge and headed out to the Grove. Oinu and Meinu looked very chipper as that flanked them, though they tried to stay seriously looking.

The soft blue glow of the trees slowly washed over them making the kings shoulders relax even more. The dogs eventually stopped when they reached the edge of a clearing.

"You go ahead..."

"And enjoy!"

"We'll be here..."

"If you need us!"

Meeka slipped out of the embrace and opened the door.

A familiar dog pair greeting her with a happy smiles.

"Are you read..."

"To go out?"

Emmy’s tail wagged in turn, and Trahan grinned, “thank you both.”

"No-"

"Problem."

The pair turned to the fire monster and set some G on the table next to their empty bowls. "Thanks for the meal Kaen!"

"It was delicious."

The blue flames on the fire monsters crackled happily "I'm glad you enjoyed." she looked up at Trahan and Emmy "You two have fun today. I'm Kaen by the way. Stop by anytime."

The dogs jolted and they quickly looked at the pair, the female starting first "And I'm Meinu!"

"And I'm Oinu!"
