When I tell y'all I SOBBED when Taystee found out Dawgett got her GED and DIDN'T EVEN NEED THE EXTRA TIME proving that she was smart she just needed someone to believe in her (TAYSTEE) but she didn't even get a chance to see it for HERSELF !!!!!!!!

Haven’t gotten very far through the OITNB finale but I love the ending that they gave Dogget- she did so much harm in her life and had such a fucked up family but the fact that she was able to grow and develop into a better person and begin to see herself as a person of value was so lovely to watch. The look on her face when she got her GED despite thinking she’d failed and Suzanne making her the brealfast for dinner she promised... their friendship is so unexpected but so beautiful- and then calling up Big Boo to tell her (and who would have guessed they were still even in contact?)... even better that we got to see Big Boo having a happy ending and owning her own bar and everything... I hope Doggett does take her up on her offer and goes to work there when she’s out, because it’s not like she has anyone else and Big Boo could be such a good influence on her.

I haven’t been this happy since that surprise twist in Series 4 where Poussey got early release with Soso and they went to travel around the continent together!

I just finished OITNB and oh my god

So much happening!!! Happened?! I can’t even talk about it all but I’m so glad that some of them got a happy ending

Taystee coming to terms with her sentence and trying to do good for those who are getting out (extra points to Judy King for stepping up and funding it!!!)

Cindy reaching out to her mom and daughter again

Blanca getting out and reunited with Diablo

Fig and Joe adopting!

Gloria reunited with her kids

Maria actively being a part of Pepper’s life and accepting Yadriel’s new love as well

but Maritza being deported, Pennsatucky dying, Red being diagnosed with dementia, Lorna losing her baby and is living in heavy denial (does she have an actual mental illness or is she just like that?), Maria’s baby not actually being Yadriel’s (big Yikes), Nicky losing her love, Carla being deported and being left in the desert, that one woman who was actively trying to terminate her pregnancy (was she Native American? And big hell yes to Fig helping her out!!!), Aleida LITERALLY choking out Daya (I’m so disappointed she went down that path- she was one of my favorites)

My heart hurts for all that

And honestly I was expecting Piper to go on living without Alex in the end, with or without Zelda. She and Alex are a toxic couple but hey they worked out their differences and are happy together so good for them.
