Welp, I finally broke down and tried my hand at some Jizou ( お地蔵様, Ojizousama) statues based on how they looked in the Buddhist cemetaries in temples when I lived in Japan in 2008. These little buddies with their aprons/bibs are sat in rows as concrete/stone statues and are the protectors of travelers. Its a nice nod to the theme of ACNH, eh? I parted the bibs so you could see the praying hands... At least, I wish they looked more like hands. u_u I wanted to create a Chinese grotto for my “older” graveyard by incorporating the sediment lines the Bodhisattva are carved into. I don’t really want to put these on the simple panels, but it’s all I’ve got.

Next on the agenda is trying (and likely failing) to make the Chrysler star with the peace sign inverted Y inside of the star as a path stone to place by what will by my brother’s gravestone and to make as the flag for my island.
