Wish him a happy birthday (because rn he is probably having a mental breakdown due to his arrival to this new age. Also because, if we count my sky fic's events, this period for him is kinda bad)!!1!1!!1!1!1!!1!!

Yes! Ojtaro's birthday is on January 8th, and today, he turns 18! Dayum, can't believe at the start of Fly Until You See The Light (my sky: cotl fanfic), he was just 14. And now, four years have passed.

I actually created him 3 years ago in 2023. But, at the start of the story, it's 2022, end of Season of Abyss. So, yes!

Fun fact: he's one of the not many ocs of mine that actually has a stabilized birthday. I still have to choose a date for most of my characters.

Also! He now is 18, but in the story I am currently writing, which for now is located in July 2025, he still is 17 ofc. So, if you have anything to ask about the story (I hugely doubt, I barely get questions about my sky au), remember to specify well the time of the story and stuff, yk.

Hii Kar <3 I'm very happy you asked something, haha! It's very nice to finally have some time to talk about my Sky ocs, mostly Ojtaro

The question you asked is if he has any passion, and he actually has a particular one: music.

It might seem something completely expected, typical, and it's normal; music is something I always try to put in my stories, in different aspects, because it is a way to heal and help others heal too. It's a connection to the heart and, the mind and the soul.

Ojtaro, as a Descendant of the Elders, has been raised to be feelingless and rigid by the Elders. He didn't know about music. That was until the day he (after gaining emotions with a precise event that also separated him from the world for one year entire) escaped from them and ran away. When he was taken under the protective wings of Passage Guide, he was still new to emotions. He didn't know how to handle them.

The new parent gifted him a piano, the Rhythm Piano, if we want to be precise. And that was the first time Ojtaro ever witnessed music. It felt strange, unusual, communicating something he couldn't understand. So, til he reached the age of fourteen, he left music behind, only used it as a little entertainment.

It was with time and his growth that he understood. When Sentinekka died in Eden (this happened in my first sky story: she had gone in Eden to "save the King Resh before it was too late", to save her friend Judy from the Shards of the realm and to also set Ojtaro free from his role of being the future Elder of the Eden. "Saving the King" would have made Ojtaro not necessary for the Kingdom. In the end, it turned out that the King was already dead and that he needed to be saved emotionally, to be forgiven for his mistakes that had caused the end of the first Sky people), music was able to give Ojtaro a sensation of comfort, because he believed that the love of his life was forever gone. Music, that time, became the closest thing he had.

From that day on, even after Sentinekka's return from the Eden and the ending of the first story, Ojtaro began playing music a lot, and he began to feel it. With time, he also learned to play other instruments.

The guitar is one of his favorites, but the piano always rules his list. He brings it everywhere, when he's with someone he trusts truly.
