I started playing Sky in Season of Passage but had to quit due to device problems during Season of Duets. I came back to Sky one day before Season of The Two Embers: Part One.

I finished one of the maaaany ref sheets of my sky ocs! It took me some time and a lot of motivation, but I'm proud with the final result!
Just to clarify (even though I believe people know already): Orlando is not the main character of the sky fic he and my other ocs belong in! He's a side character, but he's my favorite one. I needed his ref to be done before the others.
Long yapping session under the cut!
Let's begin by saying that Orlando was born, as it says on the ref sheet, from an affair. So, basically a guy that cheated on his wife with another person. Their love was so strong that Megabird, who determines the new lives of Skykids, decided to give them a baby 👍
Being born out of disloyal love is not good in general. People talk behind your back and give you the fault of actions that weren't yours.
Now, imagine this, but in a village where love is hugely believed in. Love is considered a strong force, guided by the goddess Aurora ( -> she is the goddess of Love in my au), so people will dislike any form of betrayal towards the loyalty of it.
... Let's just say that, for this reason, Orlando was never appreciated. Or loved. He grew up in the household of a mother that wasn't really his. The original wife of his father (who was sent away from the village after his actions), but not his true mother. He felt the hurt from her cruelty towards him and was abused by her hand.
That was until a shard attack came to the village, situated in the Prairie Peaks: a place where, following my au, there have been various villages that have all been destroyed by shard storms before and after the corruption of the Kingdom. So, before the birth of Skykids and also during our current days.
While the historians are unsure about how many shard attacks there have been in the Peaks before the corruption... It is known that there have been only 3 after it and the birth of Skykids, and these are the important ones for this yapping session.
His village fell victim of the second shard, which took the lives of his family.
Remaining the only survivor of them and left alone, he had to begin his journey at eleven years old, two years before the average age of actual Moths. He explored all around the first three realms and took two years to do so because 1) people kept abandoning him around as soon as they heard of his origins or just for fun, and 2) he lacks orientation skills.
It was at his thirteen years of age that he was found at the Sacred Pond, in the Hidden Forest, by Sentinekka and Ojtaro, two more important characters in the fic (Senti is the main character, Ojtaro is a side character). Orlando joined them and ended up being safe from the evil around.
With Senti, he reached the Village of Dreams, where they're both still living under the care of Sentinekka's cousin, Isan.
Orlando has dealt with struggles that came from his traumas (the abuse of his mother, the hatred around him and the darkness of shards): these struggles were habits of self harming and not eating (-> this particular habit of lacking food has of course brought him to lose weight, which is why he seems skinnier in his fourteen and sixteen year old shape).
Don't worry, though. Orlando has left those habits and is now healing, with time, enjoying life the way it is. He's loved and adored. <3<3
He has a strong passion for nature, every shade of it. He likes to take care of plants, mostly flowers, and loves manatees. This is connected to his original birth realm, which hosts tons of manatees. He grew up watching them but was never allowed to stay near them.
Therefore, he has been madly in love with the Season of The Two Embers - Part One because during this event, Orlando managed to have his own manatee for the first time. The creature's name is Eda, and it now rests in the Last City as a memory of a distant past.
He even has a partner now, a boy called Helios (a Messenger who will also have his own ref sheets soon). They're in love and all, but their relationship won't last. Helios will be venomous towards Orlando. And, drained of his own energy, Orlando will have to leave him.

I know that we artists have something in common, aside from passions, fandoms... I'm talking about the fact that we're always unable to see how nice our art can look.

Oj' in the first part of the first fic always says these "emo boy" and "no one understands me" lines (like the ones that are shown in this drawing, they were screenshotted from the fic itself) and the current Ojtaro finds it so cringe every time he remembers it. So I made this, inspired by the meme under the cut

Double post because I wanted to show off a new outfit that I think fits a lot my skysona's vibe
Basically, my skysona (who I call Judylia or Judy) has only ever had like, one official outfit, which was made of the Ascetic Monk's tunic and an orange cape (+ iconic Melancholy Mope earrings). Then she kindaaa disappeared for a bit?
I simply focused more on my sky ocs than her. Sorry Jude :'/
But I guess she's back! Back on track with a new outfit that seems familiar with the design she's always been shown.
So yeah! What do you think of this outfit? Any advice?

I say as everyone has already posted about this celebration and I'm the only idiot who didn't do it til today

I made this digital art of some of my Sky ocs who belong in the lgbt+, here is some info about their sexualities and identities
If you're wondering why there are so many yellow shades, it's because all these colors I'm using to represent my Sky ocs are a representation of their souls and cores. All the yellows can have various meanings about personalities or nature, so they are different, even if they come from the same original tone.
Ocs and some yapping about them below the cut
Sentinekka (red-orange) -> she is pansexual. She doesn'treally gaf about gender. She's more into the personality of someone;
Ojtaro (red) -> he's a demiboy, this means he identifies as pretty much all, but has a preference for being a guy. I think it has been shown clearly enough here that him and Sentinekka are lovers;
Orlando (teal) -> he's gay, go my gay boy. A very shy and flustered gay boy. Let's fucking go. He is a brotherly figure to Sentinekka, cutie patooties;
Helios (orange) -> pansexual icon who's hopelessly into Orlando (quite noticeable. He loves Orlando's personal space). Differently from Sentinekka, who is also pan, Helios is basically into all kind of people, no importance given to personality;
Youssef (bright-as-fuck yellow). He's a cutie aromantic guy who loves to paint (Season of Dear Van Gogh will mist likely be his favorite). He's not interested into romance, all he loves are his friends, relatives and art;
Symphony (gold-yellow). Diva, absolute diva, who's dear friend of Youssef and best friend of Sentinekka. She is asexual, would get a relationship if that was her number one goal, but it's not. She wants to navigate the world and seas with a boat, that's her dream (you can do it girl).
This is kinda all I could say about them without changing the topic of the post! I know my posts about my ocs are quite rare and messy, but I'll make sure to publish some art and more stuff of them! I'm working on reference sheets!
