Spring came late this year, and didn't bring any good news with it too unfortunately.
"A file report on the modern history of Australia?" Kallen complained loudly. "Yes, set from 1930 till the current decade", carried on Prof. Jeremiah without paying much attention to his fiesty student's shouting "You have now just one week left." Kallen didn't bother to argue on that, just stormed out of the class hall and made her way to the cafeteria. StayCalm staycalm, she internally advised herself. It's only one assignment! The problem was that she was really, really weak in world history and in such a short time she wouldn't be able to complete this task.
Suddenly. "Oof", someone crashed into Kallen and send them both lying flat on the corridor floor. It was a girl..on top of her. A girl with bright pink hair, and she smelled nice too.
"Oh I'm so sorry, I was in a hurry and all. Are you ok? My apologies", she got up and helped up Kallen too by the hand. Her hand's so cold, observed the dazed redhead. "No no it's fine. If you're in a hurry you should get going then", said Kallen without making eye contact surprisingly. The pretty girl gasped and ran off again to who knows where.
Funny, she thought, Why am I smiling?. She brushed aside this unusual thug and headed towards the cafeteria. Maybe Milly has an idea?
Milly did not. "The history assigment? Oh God! I remember I hated that subject so much but thankfully, I'm now free from Sir Jeremiah's poker face", she smiled wide at the last part. Kallen blinked ...Oh just great.. "I do know someone who can help you though. She's very good at world history and arts if you know what I mean", Milly winked.
"Oh, you do? Who are they and can you arrange for our meeting", Kallen requested. Finally.
