a red fox from a batch i got a couple years ago, which i intended to sell all of them after tanning, buuut… this lady has stuck around. she was a pretty old fox based on her skull, and it’s hard to describe but you can see and feel the age in her fur too. i have a soft spot for wild animals who manage to make it to old age. all remains carry the history of a rich life, but elderly animals especially are brimming with experience and knowledge
