I FINALLY FOUND THIS STUPID THING
i was at barnes and noble today looking for cd and we couldn’t find it so we asked for help, when we went back over there i looked at the dvd section that was right next to it and i saw it… the one time i don't purposely look for it its there… this thing has appeared in my dreams multiple times!!! it was the best moment of my life and i've never been happier
i know i sound crazy but it’s ok
aAAAAAAAAAA. making matt laugh
i love these moments when jay’s being so sarcastic and straight faced and is!!!! telling a lie!!!! jay lying. smilesssssss
i love this i love this i love. sorry okay had to get it out
anyway i think you can hear jay going “i can’t balance like i used to” and the kids says yeah that’s why im scared of stopping. which is ougghhh but its just always really fun watching jay slightly geek out over stuff like this
jay ur such a such a dork but this is unfortunately really sweet
HIS SCREENSAVER WAS MABBL SHUTT UPPPP SHUT UPPPPPP
screenshotting the whole thing because it's a blackberry era jay scoring interview that i've never seen before!!
him talking about how scoring is more like film making and i remember a quote from him saying that being on every project w/ matt and the zapruder crew was really like essentially his own film school experience/crash course.
also "i was freaking out/it is a very difficult job to take on" and his struggles with time constraints is something that i feel like i've only seen vaguely alluded to before by him but never outright stated.
and ending with bloody and bashed is certainly something. wow
i actually don’t listen to a lot of music. this is maybe a secret or maybe a fault, but. what i do is i spend so much time writing, i write so much and keep the movie in front of me because i find if i get too swept up in a phase listening to something i’ll start to emulate that, like, i’m pretty quick on the piano and my brain will start to make my fingers do this and all of a sudden i’m doing something only one way.
