Had the opportunity to wear a very unique kimono!! The material used in this kimono is normally reserved solely for weddings - most long sleeved ‘furisode’ kimono’s are very ornate whereas this is pure white♡

The obi sash uses gold, silver and platinum ‘urushiya’ (lacquer) foils instead of threads which is standard. The overall colours represent both Japan and Australia🇯🇵🇦🇺

とても珍しい純白の振袖を着させて頂きました‼︎ 

現代は花嫁衣裳や七五三の衣装などでしか用いられてない、ふき綿仕立ての振袖♡

帯は佐賀錦織の錦流水という流水紋の帯で、たて糸の代わりに、金・銀・プラチナ・漆の箔を織り込んでいます。「桜を見る会」とのことで桜が一番美しいと言われる水辺に映る桜をイメージしたものです🌸

お着物の色味は日本とオーストラリアの国旗も意味しています🇯🇵🇦🇺

Although Okano has her hyper moments, she tends to also mainly keep to herself, and close friends. She also seems to be a bit of a rightsy activist type, with the fact she dislikes parts of Maehara’s playboy attitude. She would find you hair cool, and even if you dislike it, she will help you feel better. She loves your weirder personality as well.
