Sero hummed as he made his way into the nearby mall, his brother had recently given him a bit of money for helping out on his farm so he was excited to do a bit of shopping. He pushed his sunglasses up into his hair as he walked into the building, the lights were slightly dimmer than the burning sun outside.

He tilted his head when he spotted a head of bright blue and pink hair and walked a little closer, he was pretty sure he knew who it was but he didn’t want to end up bothering a stranger. Once he could tell it actually was his friend he tapped the other on the shoulder with a large grin.

“Hey, dude! What are you doing here?” He asked with a soft chuckle.

“ Who says you’re not star potential? Who says you’re not ‘presidential’? ” Yaoyoyorozu laughs, bright an amused, and leans against the railing. She shot a bright smile Okashi’s way, eyes shining as she swipes an arm out, referencing the students around them all unaware of the two of them talking. “ Who says you don't pass the test? Who says you can't be the best? ”

Realization that maybe she’s becoming too excited crossed her mind and her face flushed slightly, but her smile stayed in place as she met his eyes.

“It seems that a lot of the mistakes are fairly simple ones, maybe while you were rushing you just didn’t pay much attention to them, and then they all added up.” He waved his hand a little bit, looking over the paper that he had been given. A smile on his face as he lifted his head up to the student. “Nothing that I’m sure you can’t rectify in your next written test. It’s about taking the time that you need, not panicking in the pressure of the silent room.”

He put the paper down, resting his hands together, on his desk. “Being able to handle the pressure may also aid in your training too, being that your quirk, much like mine, is through touch.” He held up his own hands and gave the student a bright smile. “Sometimes too much pressure can activate a quirk, or deactivate it. I know when I’m stressed I end up getting too much information from my quirk deciding to keep itself on all the time. So, see your next in class test as sort of a trial run for keeping yourself calm under pressure, as you get used to that, then doign it in world situations can be even easier.”

“I feel like my last brain cell was knocked out of my head.” He groaned and rubbed at his temples hoping to alleviate some pressure or at least calm down the consistent pounding that was making his eyes cross.

“Stupid villains tried to rob the bank so I was the first responder cause I was closest and I have my license with me.” He sighed. “Some asshole hit me with his quirk while I was mid-swing and- wait! Did they get away?”

As the dust settled around them, Sero took a look around to try and tell his surroundings. It looked like the two of them were stuck under a part of the building that had caved in around them. 

“Hey, Okashi, are you okay?” He asked, well he hoped that Okashi was in there with him since they were pretty close when the building began to tumble.

He grabbed a chunk of debris by his head and tried to lift himself up. He paused when he felt a bright burning pain in his stomach and he looked down to see a large piece of metal embedded within his gut. “Wow, that’s an issue...anyways.”

On the occasional day off with no responsibilities at the forefront of his mind, Sero likes to take it easy. Finding a grass hill, that lays in the path of the sun, and a tree for shade if he ever needs it. And some company was always nice as well. 

The teen pops one eye open, letting its gaze trail to the person next to him. He doesn’t move, hands still behind his head as he soaks up the sun, his feet in the grass, and his head laid on the blanket he had brought out.

His easy smile doesn’t leave his lips as a brow raises in question. “What kind of promises are you making, dude?”

“Here- let me help,” Zane offered, cautiously extending his hand towards the other’s ankle. If the healer were to be honest, he was already exhausted from a long day; bags drooped under his eyes and his pale frame was skeletal, but it didn’t stop his fingers from lightly brushing against the ankle. “Let me know when the pain goes away.”

If the other didn’t, he’d continue to let his own energy drain away until it did. His eyes never left the other’s ankle, watching cautiously and barely touching him.

“I saw you in the Sports Festival, you know... you’ve got to be careful. Sometimes there won’t be help around, you know...?”

He didn’t respond for a few minutes, just staying folded into himself as he sat against the wall. He had come outside to cry hoping no one would find him or would just ignore him if they did catch sight of him.

He sniffled and shrugged. “Heartbreak and shit.”
