Eric was at Oliver and Troye’s house at bizarre times all the time. It was natural, and no one questioned it. He’d thrown himself on their couch, propped up his feet on the coffee table, and was watching TV. Needing to pee, he got up and entered the bathroom, where Daniel was unbelievably naked. Eric sighed, walking past Daniel and unzipping his jeans to pee. “Wear some fucking pants.”

“Dammit, Daniel! I fucking killed you! That’s cheating, you fucking idiot!” Eric yelled as he hid behind the wall, shooting at Oliver with his Nerf gun. Looking down dramatically as he felt a ‘bullet’ hit his chest, Eric looked at Daniel with betrayal in his eyes. “You fucking idiot,” He said, before collapsing on the ground.

She was nearly seven or eight Vodka shot’s in when Violet decided making a phone call was a great idea. Stumbling to grab ahold of her new phone, Violet scrolled through her contacts before her face lit up at the sight of Daniel’s name. Quickly pressing down on his number, Violet giggled in a childish manner, losing her balance and finding herself on her hardwood floor. Only finding amusement in this, she waited to hear the sound of Daniel’s voice. “Danny Boy!” She exclaimed, picking herself up and pouring herself another shot. “You think I could use your bathroom? I really need to pee. I think my bladder might just explode. If it explodes, does that mean it’ll be like a little bomb that goes off inside my body? Will it set off my other bladders? Will you give me your bladder, Danny? If I need a transplant, will you give me your bladder?”

“You should know, Daniel’s dead.’ 

Any other uttered word simply didn’t register in Eric’s mind. Frankly, he didn’t care. He didn’t care what happened -- he didn’t care when. He just cared that it did. Those five words torturously rang in his head, repeating themselves in his mother’s mustered voice over and over again. The phone slipped through his fingers while his mother’s voice still rang through, repeating his name in effort to get ahold of her son. Anger built up inside him. He couldn’t comprehend the news just yet. While the anger was there, he couldn’t conjure the sadness. It hadn’t hit him quite yet. Why him? Why Daniel? Guilt circled his mind, gearing him to clench his fist. Why him? His fist clashed with the wall, but the first time wasn’t enough. He threw repeated punches at the wall until he could feel his fingers break in an attempt to release some of the anger that had built up inside him. It wasn’t fair. Daniel deserved more -- he had a daughter, for Christ sake. He had a life that he was supposed to live, but it was gone. Just like that. And the last thing -- well, he couldn’t remember the last thing he’d said to him.

Cady, I keep forgetting to write to you. You remember Naomi? Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever written about her to you. Anyway. We went to Vegas. The entire town. Or, most of the town. I guess Naomi and I got so beyond wasted, we decided to get married. Whoo. Not whoo. She’s a pain in the ass. That led to sex, quite obviously. I guess it isn’t considered a sin if I decide to visit church since we’re technically married, right? Anyway, she slept with Daniel on that trip too, and wait for it, she might be pregnant. The only good thing about this is that Daniel is chill as fuck.See ya, Aireec.

Cady, So, Naomi turned out to be pregnant. It’s been drama-ful. Daniel’s one of my best friends. I’ll be there for him as much as I can. But that’s fucking hard when Oliver and him are fighting. Like, fucking hell. I’m literally in the middle of high school drama queens. How do you help a friend that’s almost always high on meth? I talked to Blake. He said some shit about Daniel, I didn’t hear it all. I just started yelling. I mean, he had a point. Daniel might be the father. But he’s had a tough life. What the fuck am I supposed to do? Be there for all three of them, I guess. When the fuck did I become the therapist. My advice sucks ass., Eric.

Cady, Naomi and I saw Haven. She’s mine. And, I know we both agree that Daniel can’t know. I feel guilty about it, I do, since he’s my friend, but we’ve already been fighting like fucking idiots.
