As we begin the Southwest leg of #TheGreatUnknownTour2016, @Marishaness and I need your help connecting some of the dots for us. We'll be in Texas (1st San Antonio, then Houston, Dallas, Austin) in a couple of days and we need contacts for organizations that serve youth. It doesn't have to be the huge ones that we all know and love (YMCA, Boys N Girls Clubs), but we're also looking to serve the non profits with the smaller names that need support also. It's Time For A Change

The other night when Marisha and I were watching a documentary on chef’s and their individual journey’s to becoming these artists who own restaurants that are in the top 50 in the world, I realized that I am currently bored with my creative process.

I feel like I have so much more to say with my music, not just with my words though. I want to rearrange my whole sound. I want to experiment with new instruments and drums patterns and voice tones and! I could go forever about this….

I feel boxed in. We’re on the road. Our budget isn’t big enough to include studio time or buying beats from producers. I feel trapped. I’m currently using instrumentals from popular hip hop songs to write new music. It’s fine. I’m getting my thoughts out.

But I don’t want to feel fine about my music. I want to be excited about it. I want to be exhilarated by it. I want to push boundaries and break rules. I don’t know how to do that right now. I’m going to look at all the resources that I have around me, and make something of it…but I also need you to pray.

I don’t want to be satisfied with my music anymore. I want to create something. I want add something unmistakable to this community that has given me so much. Please just pray for me. (2/2/16 Williams, Arizona)

For the past two years, I have had the privilege of sharing my story through my music in collaboration with youth ministries, youth conferences, schools, after school programs, and the like. The only down side to that, is that most of you guys haven't been able to join us for these epic adventures!
