A new song from my friend Oke. Speechless. Love his voice, so sweet and all-enveloping.

Note by him:

"The Secret sound of crickets" is more than an intro, it's a statement of intent about what i'll bring you soon. It's not a sample of what is coming, nor the sound i'm working on, because there are many genres and sounds in my life these days. It's just my way of feeling music today. In China, historically, crickets were trapped in bamboo cages to sing, or being forced to fight to see which one was stronger. It is a metaphor for my situation and my vision of the past two years in the profession, I will not sing what others want or take part in the war of the music industry. I'll have fun, express, tell you what dislike and sing about what I like. It is simple, just like the sound of a cricket on a summer night, which reminds us that silence and darkness, sometimes can be the best friends to find some answers. I will return in early fall with two opposite and ambitious singles, different to what I have been doing, with the promo stuff that goes with it and looking forward for you to enjoy them as much as I do.
