Falling for Innocence | Taeil & Jenissi

“This is so stupid.” Taeil mumbled as he sat in the rehearsal room with the rest of the trainee’s, a group of camera men surrounding them as they listened to the song that was being played for them. They’d been working for the better half of a week on a new song for their survival show so they could finally debut but today wasn’t going as planned. Nothing they did came out right and Taeil was already frustrated because he was stuck in a group with Jenissi. Their CEO had already said that Jenissi was the main rapper of the group and Taeil was the lead, considering Jenissi had more experience Taeil knew he shouldn’t have been angry about it, but the fact that Jenissi kept rubbing it in really upset him. 

“Why do I have two lines in the whole song? There’s only four of us!” Taeil said, his eyes narrowing as he glanced over at Jenissi. He knew the only reason he would be getting shit lines was because of Jenissi. Taeil didn’t even know why the other male hated him, but ever since they’d first met each other they couldn’t be in the same room for very long without the other getting heated over something someone had said. Taeil thought it was a bad idea to be put into a group with Jenissi but he didn’t really have much of a choice, so even if it was going to be hell Taeil was going to put up with it. “I know you’re responsible for this. You know this isn’t fair!”

nami was a bit anxious mainly because she had to take care of her baby cousin. her aunt was going to be away and the baby sitter was going to be hospitalized for a routine surgery for at least a week. her aunt was going to come back in two days so that was the time that nami had to spend looking after little yo-chan. the problem was that nami had never before in her whole life taken care of a baby or a kid even, truth be told she wasn’t good with kids especially if they cried, that was why she needed the sweetest person she knew of, her boyfriend, to help her. she had the guidelines in a paper but still, it would have been so much better if she didn’t stay alone with yo-chan. 

so there she was, outside jaewook’s door with the kid , he was waiting for her after all. she rang the doorbell and gently rocked the baby carriage back and forth. “yo-chan now that we wil be here we must be good with jaewook okay?” the baby didn’t really speak yet, or even understand nami, but either way she had a note saying that it was good to talk to the kid. the problem was that the baby would probably hear both japanese and korean. maybe later on in the future it would be useful to have this small bilingual experience. right? once the door opened she smiled. “we are here!” she lifted the bag with the necessities over her head and pushed the baby stroller inside. “again thank you so much for accepting to help me with my cousin.” she said to him as she put the bag down. “jaewook ~ meet my baby cousin ~ yo-chan. she is around one years old.”

ai had been in the marriage hunting business for the past two years with a very high success rate, always being confident about how to pair people using her ability to read auras and love frequencies in order to create the best possible matches. she had been a cupid for 9 years already after all. however, for the first time ever she was unable to read a customer’s love frequency. he was sitting accross her and she was simply unable to tell a thing. what did it even mean that she wasn’t able to perceive it? that she didn’t know. that was why she was hesitant about allowing him to subscribe to the most recent cooking event. how would she be able to pair him? it was going to be impossible. “mister choi...” she smiled politely yet not in a friendly way. “i think that you’re not really here to actually find someone to marry , am i right?” she wasn’t sure about what she was saying but she assumed that the lack of love frequency indicated just that. “i don’t really think that my marriage hunting office can really be of any help to you...”
