“Holy shit, the PROFILE CEO? Why is he joining a rap battle? He doesn’t… Well? Actually, I guess he probably got his interest piqued by the hypnosis microphones. Being a tech guy, maybe he wants to learn about how they work. That’s at least my best guess… Honestly, I was envious of him back then. Lots of seething as a young adult, wishing I could have gone in a similar direction as him after college. I can’t say the feelings are the same now. I was happy with my new life. "I've heard much of this so-called preacher, both among the nobility and the common folk. Supposedly, he is well-liked for his dynamic way of preaching and terrifying messages. While I don't bother myself with religion much, I must admit, it's quite surprising that Catholicism is growing. Much of Japan are Buddhists, if I'm not mistaken. Karada doesn't bother talking about religion, which is something we can both agree with. The only one from this team who is truly religious is Luis, though I think that's more due to his grandmother's influence. I've also heard that he has been seen speaking to that nun from Ueno."

"Speaking of which, you'd think this man and that priest would be the best of friends, but... you'd be mistaken. Apparently, the nun's mother kept this priest from taking the role of Archbishop, if what I've heard is correct. ...Oh well, it's going nothing to do with me. If he wants to waste time fighting against her and that team from Ueno, then by all means. He'd be doing me a favor, really."

"Ah, Noguchi-san. Truly a stalwart example of what an honest and good businessman should be. He was able to turn a small chat site into, perhaps, the world's largest social media platform. After seeing how much of a sensation it was, I convinced my parents to buy some stock in his company. They were skeptical, but after they saw just how much money Sigma Inc. was making them, they quickly changed their tune. Now Noguchi-san is a must-have invitee to every one of our family's soirees."

"Argh, and here we have the most vulgar and disreputable of these men. Honestly, with his physique and short temper, I'd have thought that he was the horrible fusion of both Karada and Luis. From what Luis tells me, he used to be part of a former rap supergroup that was called C H A R O N. Apparently, they were quite famous. However, due to some... "complications", the group, unfortunately, broke up. Luis seems to blame this individual. And after seeing his appearance, I do not doubt it."

"'Last Judgment.' ...I suppose most people might think that facing off against a team with such an ominous name would be foreboding. Me, I find it quite ludicrous, if anything. I still have too much to do before I pass away. And facing a team like this won't be enough for me to up and quit just yet. I care not how deadly they think they are. They'll see how deadly the JST are should we face them."

"...Wow. And here I thought the creepy, dark priest thing was just a stereotype you only see in movies or tv shows. I didn't think they actually existed in real life. Suffice to say, this guy is very different from the nun that lives in Ueno. Unlike him, she seems to be very kind and earnest. Him, on the other hand, behind his kind and innocent demeanor, you can tell this guy has got evil intentions. The fact that almost all of his city worships him like a freakin' cult should be a hint."

"...I'll say this: I don't know exactly what this guy's intentions are, and I don't really care. As long as he stays far away from me, Evelyn, and Rashaad, he can do whatever he wants in his little world."

Eiji Noguchi

"Eiji... Noguchi?! Isn't this the man behind the social media platform, PROFILE?! ...Wow. I am shocked. And that's not an understatement, either. I am very surprised to hear that the man behind one of the largest's platforms on the Internet is actually joining a rap contest. ...I'm almost afraid to let my father know about this. Why? Because in case you don't know, this man, (un)fortunately, had to ban my father from PROFILE because the bullheaded old man made some malicious and false messages." Ace scoffs. "He should be lucky that he had won the election by that time. If he had done that during the campaign, there's no doubt in my mind that he would have lost."

"But besides that, I am actually a big fan of PROFILE. I have a lot of followers on my page, though I only know a few hundred. Some of them are friends from high school, others are guys I met years ago during football camp, and others are just people I've met around Cali. Like I said, PROFILE's a good platform. I hope to meet the man behind it and shake his hand."

Ace scoffs. "And here we have the vulgar, redheaded buffoon. And trust me, that's me being nice. This guy reminds me of some of the bullies we had back in high school. They loved picking and beating up on people younger or shorter than them. They had a reputation around school, but it didn't bother me none. I didn't go looking for trouble, but I sure as hell wasn't going to run if it came my way."

"Honestly, the only thing of note about this guy is that he used to be in a rap group from what Rashaad told me. Apparently, he and that fortune teller lady from Ōta were in a group together, but it dissolved after she quit and the others followed. Now, it looks like he's trying to regain his former glory. Peh, forgive me if I don't hold my breath."

"Last Judgment... is that name supposed to invoke fear? That facing them will be the last thing you ever do? Well, I'm sorry to disappoint, but I still have a lot of things I want to do before I die. And I don't think facing these guys is enough to kill me. I'm not saying I'll go out of my way to face them. But if they want a challenge, I'll gladly give them one. My apologies to Mr. Noguchi, but PROFILE or not, if we face each other, I won't hold back."

Aranai glares at the photo of the priest, before crumbling it up.

"This guy, no offense to Shisuta, is why I don't put too much stock into religion. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people who do. You believe in what you want to believe in. I'm not going to knock you for it. But people like this corrupt minister and his so-called church, they're the main reason why religion is so looked down on. Because it's more like bondage and brainwashing than actual free will!"

"I don't know what beef this guy has with Shisuta, and quite frankly, I don't give a rat's ass. But if he thinks I'm just going to stand by and let him hurt her, he's got another thing coming. He harms so much as a hair on her head, not even those followers are going to save him when I get my hands on him!"

Eiji Noguchi

"This guy is probably the only likable guy on this team. And that's more to do with the fact that he created PROFILE than anything else. I tell you, I'd like to know what was running through his mind when he came up with that thing. I'm not knocking him, though! Ask anyone here in Ueno, and they'll tell you PROFILE is everywhere! I've been trying to get Shisuta and Boss-Lady into it, but neither of them can be bothered. Shisuta doesn't know enough about technology, and Boss-Lady considers it a waste of time." Aranai rolls her eyes.

"Besides that, this guy also seems to be a complete technophile. He was on T.V. once proclaiming that technology is the way of the future and that the future will be completely reliant on technology. I don't know how much of that is true. I think I'd have to see it to believe it. And besides that, I'm not sure how I feel about having robots and androids walking around. I've watched some robot movies about the ones that take over the earth and... well, it just makes you think. I know, I watch too much TV..."

Oki Teagan

"Wasn't this guy part of that rap group? C H A R O N, or some shit? Yeah, I think that was it. Truthfully, this guy, along with everyone else I knew, was everyone's least-favorite member of the group. I mean, the guy just had a pompous-as-hell attitude and thought the whole fucking world revolved around him just cause he could rap. Newsflash pal: most people in this day and age know how to rap! Don't think that just because you were in a group, that makes you special!"

"Truthfully, no one really noticed when he disappeared, at least I didn't. But when he suddenly showed up as the third member of this group, well, it turned some heads. But if he's trying to grab hold of his lost fame, he's wasting his time. We've all moved on. And even those that hadn't, have long forgotten you. Deal with it!"

"This team is on the top of my shit list! If it weren't for that priest making threats to Shisuta, I wouldn't have paid him or this group any attention. But he basically called out Shisuta by declaring war against her and Sakurai Clan. I don't know if he knows this, but if you mess with one of us in this clan, you mess with all of us! And he'll see that before this tournament is over. He claims to be a religious man, well I'm telling you this now, buddy. If you know a prayer, then so help you, you'd better say it now, because trust me, when we meet in the D.R.B. and I wipe that sorry-ass smirk off your face, you're going to need it!"

"Da-I mean, Father Judice? Yeah, he’s a weird one for sure. He paid me to ignore a client, which usually, I never ever take deals like that. I prefer letting my client know the truth personally, but when I told her that I was dropping her case, she was… Weirdly okay with it? Almost like she understood what was happening. Holding onto that church’s money afterwards felt awful, but not as awful as the information Father gave me. As much help that information brought for that cold case, why did he hide it and use it as… Well, blackmail?”

“If it weren’t for the fact that he paid me a ton and sees me often whenever I’m tailing clients in the Ginza city area, I’d probably go back and question Father about it. But a deal is a deal I guess… Waah! How does Jyu-chan handle blackmail and extortion so easily?! I hate it~!”

Eiji Noguchi

"Oh no, Noguchi ojii-chan?! Look, that client’s feelings about his wife being a cheater was completely valid, but he was unreasonable when it came to handling that information. I never expected him to actually go out and blame the social media platform that he used? Poor old man was dragged out and put under scrutiny for months all because of my client… I felt so bad, I went to apologize in person. In person! It was scary too, with all the press and security guards everywhere.”

“It’s all good now, though! I think. I hope! I don’t want him to hate me! I mean, he was so nice, he helped me make my own PROFILE page! Thanks to him, now I can dig into people’s lives without going as far as to use uh… My outside resources. At least, not as often as I used to. I mean, if almost destroying Noguchi ojii-chan’s reputation wasn’t enough, he would a hundred percent hate me if he knew about how exactly I got those private messages.”

Oki Teagan

"Oki-chan is apparently Ryu-chan’s last friend from his old life. Poor Ryuko has to fight sensei about staying friends with him. It’s so sad! But… I dunno, Ryuko won’t let me meet him, saying that Oki-chan doesn’t like people like me. Which is just so mean! What does he mean, ‘people like me’?! What kind of hater is he that Ryuko is afraid of letting me meet Oki-chan?!”

"Hmm… I’m super-duper conflicted about this team. They’re all so different, but somehow they’ve joined together. The only thing connecting them is… I guess the controversy that surrounds two of the three members? I mean, Father is kinda suspicious with how he jumped in and bribed me to ignore a normal case of cheating? And Noguchi ojii-chan is nice, but I feel like he hates me for getting hacked messages from his site. And apparently Oki-chan just flatout hates me before even meeting me?! Nobody in this team is nice! Like, what a bummer!”

“Father, hm? Both my teammates and my friends seem to be familiar with him. All mixed comments, but nothing really negative… Although I know Shisuta-san probably has some things to say. But all that religious drama she rants to Jakurai is beyond me. I mean, it’s nun of my business.”

“Eiji! Finally joining in on the rap battle fun, eh? Then again, Eiji’s never been the type to throw away an opportunity to make some sort of growth. Fame, money, and… Well, his daughter too. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was entirely in the D.R.B. just to make a ton of money to throw into more research funds… Hopefully, that isn’t his entire goal. I mean, that guy already makes enough money to get anything he wants! Surely, he’s entering to have some fun or maybe just to promote his business?”

Oki Teagan

“We got a new mystery man joining in, huh? Well, I say mystery man, but I've seen him appear around Rashaad's business lately. From what Rashaad says, he's a bit temperamental, but he behaves himself I suppose. He's shot me a couple of glares during my usual spout of awful jokes to Rashaad, but that's about it. Oh, and apparently he vanished for a couple years and returned in some sort of strange circumstance… Which worries me a lot, for some strange reason. Nothing to stress about though, right?"

“Eiji got himself into a wild team, didn't he? It's hard to imagine them cooperating together, but I imagine a lot of it is going to be held together by Eiji's efforts.
