Here’s a breakdown of the construction for our Okoye costume. From Duct tape body mold to cut up old leather jackets and painted leggings. @stephanie_vlahos did most of the sewing and foam work. @saraii_hernandez84 spent over 5 hours placing down the painted gem strips for the tabard (torso portion.) Boots and the poncho were from Goodwill. Total Build time was about two and a half months. @danaigurira totally owned the role of Okoye and I saw art by @marcusthevisual that gave us inspiration for this #genderbend @officialmegacon was amazing and I want to thank @orlandocosplay for taking my photo! #okoyecosplay #blackpanther #doramilajecosplay #doramilajecosplay #megacon2018 #megacon #danaigurira #wakandaforever (at MegaCon Convention)
