Okoye x Attuma: For the Love of You pt 5
No warnings here
Chapter Nine
Namor stood on the beach; watching as Shuri flew the jet low over his head deliberately, going back to Wakanda. Their meeting had gone bad, with him being who he is, Namlr. ‘Bye Namor, we will not ever speak this way again,’ resonated in his mind. He knew exactly what she meant. Never again, will she ever come to him, for anything anymore. His dealings will be with the King of Wakanda, M'Baku, from this day forth.
It could have been different, also ring loud in his head. What did he expect; how this would play out? After he deliberately came to Wakanda, to kill the Queen. Did he really believe; Shuri would eventually forgive him, for drowning her mother? And right in front her; showing no empathy, as she screamed for her mother.
His biggest mistake was underestimating Shuri. He felt she was naïve, and innocent; easily manipulated, that her being Queen, she could be intimidated. But he now realizes; her brilliant mind would be his downfall. Two sayings he quoted to her, when he held her in Talokan; he ignored in this quest, to rule over to powerful nations.
First, his ancestors would often say, only the most broken people, can be great leaders. He broke her, and she led a few; into battle, and won. Secondly, without the Black Panther, Wakanda would fall. He didn’t understand the resilience of the Wakandans; nor the ability of Shuri. She tried to recreate the heart shaped herb, to save her brother. And unknown to him, he gave her the missing ingredient, she needed inside his mother’s bracelet. Once again, the Black Panther lived. The Black Panther is the symbol of Wakanda, and not one person.
Shuri had confided in him, about how she felt; losing her brother. He stomped on that information and took the last of her family. The one who carried her for nine months; and gave her life, nurtured her and protected her, knew her better than she knew herself. No, there is no going back from such a betrayal. He let out a huge breath, knowing whatever hope he had; was dash there on the beach. The very one he met with her mother, as she pleaded for the return of her daughter. And all along, she had the upper hand, sending a rescue for Shuri and RiRi, while he laughed in her face, making her feel helpless. He gazed up into the sky, taking in the quiet of the night.
Shuri flew the jet back to Wakanda; she could have kicked herself and spared herself, the humiliation of asking that creep for anything. But Okoye’s life was more important; then her pride. M'Baku was right, it was a waste of time, and energy. Why didn’t she see this, when he talked of burning down the surface world, and suggested they do it together? Because, he overheard her say something in grief. And then demanding Wakanda help Talokan, or her would destroy it. Not to mention, one of his guards try to kill her when Nakia came for the rescue.
“Hmmph,” she expressed. “Who gave them that order, Namor?” Everything he does, is about what he wants or needs; not the benefit of others. He's smooth and his words or manipulative; he says the right things, but in his heart is another. She meant it, he can deal with M'Baku; she has other things to think about.
Meanwhile.
The Talokan prison was unique. It sat upon an underwater hill, overlooking the Capitol city. Its structure was unusually designed; long beams made up of granite rock, sand, and seaweed, that was one row after another. The cells were enormous spheres, and their material; were almost the same, as the water balls and grenades, used to attack Wakanda, but sturdier.
The cells hung from the beams, by seaweed and sand, twisted into reinforced ropes. The doors were four long bars made of vibrainum, and a small window with three small bars. Though the prison had been there forever, it hadn’t been in use for years. The Talokanils, pretty much followed the laws put in place, by their K'uk'ulkan.
So therefore, Attuma was the only prisoner these days. Now, a young dolphin happened to be swimming by, and Attuma in one of the cells; and found it strange, since no one has been placed in there for years. It swam back to its group, communicating what it saw, and curious to why?
The word spread, as all the sea creature affiliated with the Talokanils; found this an abnormally. Word got back to a herd of whales Tmay and Attuma’s pet was in. He heard the commotion, and went to explore for himself; passing over, and saw it was his master, then called out to him.
Attuma was laying down meditating. This was the only thing he could do; without going stir crazy. He thought he heard Tmay, but wasn’t sure; until he called again. He swam to the door, looking out and seeing the giant pass over. Tmay came up to the door, his huge eye staring at him.
Attuma reached out and touched him, sensing him stressing, Tmay swam away. Attuma floated there gripping the bars for a few moments; then went back to lay down. Just as he got comfortable, he felt this shaking, like an underwater quake, and explosions, as the apparatus being torn apart. Everything went into chaos; the prison came crashing down. He felt his cell, being pulled away through the water, as it moved away from Talokan.
Attuma took this time to bust out, something he hadvbeen contemplating since his imprisonment. He kicked the door loose with one blow. He the saw the guards chasing, but some of the orcas, and whales were running interference. The guards finally gave up, as the herd of Tmay formed a shield as Attuma and Tmay made their getaway. Attuma grabbed hold of Tmay's flipper, as they sped on towards Wakanda.
Namor returned to find the guards, and Namora in a uproar. She swam to him, to inform him of Attuma’s escape; and how it was done. He told them to mount up, that they were going after him. They called to the Orcas, whales and dolphins, for their rides, but none responded. That’s when they knew, the creatures were aiding in the escape. Namor grew angry, but knew it wasn’t much he could do for now. He would use this as a way to break the alliance; if M'Baku did not return Attuma to them.
“What do we do about the animals?” Namora asked.
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“They refused to perform their duties,” she said.
“What do you think we should do, Namora?” he asked. “Something that will not, bring every sea creature down upon us, with a wrath; even I could not defend against.” Namora stared blankly at him, pondering the chaos Talokan would be thrown in.
“Right,” she said, then left.
Okoye isn’t doing well; Attuma will get to her, but will he be in time? Once she is gone, he will be left with no purpose, but to return broken hearted, and beg for his forgiveness. He will, but there will be some conditions, he will have to abide by. Yes, this may work in his favor after all, Namor thought to himself.
Attuma hung on as Tmay sped towards Wakanda and Okoye. All he could think about; is finally, he can hold her in his arms, feel her lips on his, their bodies touching each other, completing the bond between them, and becoming one in mind, body and soul. He will never leave her side again.
He grew dark, thinking about what Namor will attempt, once he knows he has escaped. He will use this to break the alliance, and try to start a war between the two kingdoms. Namor had this perception of Attuma; that he was intellectually challenged. And the fact, Attuma allowed him to continue with this thought. But in reality, Attuma truly was highly intelligent; and little did Namor know, he has been studying their bylaws. So, when the time comes, and Namor chooses to force the Wakandans into a war; Attuma will invoke one of those laws against Namor, and he will not be able to refuse.
Shuri made it back into Wakanda and landed on the platform near the lab. She told Ayo and Aneka to go home, and get some rest. There was nothing more, any of them can do right now. M’Baku had already left, with instructions to call him if anything develops. Shuri went into her lab, trying trying, what she could do to free Okoye from this hold.
“Griot run that sequence once again,” she ordered her AI.
“If I may say, Princess,” he said.
“Yes, speak,” she told him.
“If Attuma will come, as M’omee Zasanda says; shouldn’t we prepare for his arrival?” Griot asked.
“What do you mean?” Shuri asked.
“He is a sea person am I correct?” He asks.
“Yeah, so what are you saying?” She was confused.
“He will have to escape to get here, and that will mean; no preparation. He will have none of his equipment to assure his survival, nor supplies, he will need to sustain himself on land. He will soon perish after assisting Okoye, if not before.” Shuri realized, what Griot was saying is true. Attuma will not have anything to keep him a live; due to his expedient getaway.
“Griot, tell me. What are the chances, he will escape, and make it?” She asked.
“I calculate it is ninety-nine-point ninety-nine percent; he is on his way now.” He informed her.
“What? Griot, are you sure he escaped, and coming? She asked.
“I detected a disturbance from the area of the Talokan sea, whales and other sea mammals were on the rampage, I am receiving. The new alert warnings; you set up on the land near Talokan tonight, are working.” She wasn’t sure they would, since they hadn’t been tested until now. She went about making plans, for Attuma's appearance.
“You summon me?” Namora enter the room; Namor sat at the table.
“Yes, I did. I need you to prepare our army, we’re going to Wakanda to get Attuma,” he ordered. “If there is any resistance; we will attack.” Namora stood for a moment; a grim expression donned her face. Namor had been looking down, while he told her what to do; but looked up at her, realizing she wasn’t moving, and saw her face. “Is there something wrong, my child?”
“Yes, K'uk'ulkan,” she answered. “Much of this is wrong.” Namor has always had a softness with her, even when she has over stepped the boundaries. But this, is a touch of questioning him, something she has done one time too many. He rose to his feet, and approached her; she stood her ground, having enough of all of this.
“And tell me Namora, what is wrong with so much of this?” He asked. She could hear the anger in his voice, though his face didn’t reveal it.
“We have an alliance with Wakanda, coming to them with an army; will present an act of aggression,” she said. “When I came to you; angry you had bowed before the Black Panther, and yield. Remember what you told me?” His eyes brows furrowed.
“I told you; the Black Panther had a right to kill me, but she did not,” he said.
“Her right; because we attacked Wakanda, and you killed her mother.” She reminded him. “But she did not, and why is that K'uk'ulkan?” What was it you told me, and convince me; your decision to yield was the right thing to do?”
“Her empathy for our people, and that the surface world will come after Wakanda,” he said to her.
“And when they do, what did we promise Wakanda?” She asked. “The ones we caused, so much pain and death?” His eyes narrowed more than they had, as the conversation progress. Namora regurgitated the things he told her, after the battle with the Black Panther; which remains a sore spot in his existence.
“I am not sure why all of a sudden, you are defending these surface dwellers?” He snapped at her.
“Because, you told me to trust you on this, and I did. I realized, it was best for Talokan, to have Wakandan; not only protecting our waters from above; but our very presence. Something, we really do not deserve.”
“They killed two of your sisters, remember how angry you were?” He says to her.
“Yes, I was very angry, and afraid; if they could find us, they could send their whole army, and attack Talokan. But they did not, even after what we did to them. I was wrong about them.” She told him.
“So, what is it you suggest we do?” He asked of her.
“Not this, not this again,” she said. “We have no idea their true power; but they know ours. And then there is Attuma, he will not come without a fight, K'uk'ulkan. Are you prepared to battle him?” Namor came closer to her, lowering his head; until he looked her in the eyes.
“No one disobeys orders and a decree, then escapes the trial,” he said. His voice calm, but ominous.” She stared him in the eyes, and saw something she didn’t like; this alarmed her. “So, to answer your question. Yes, I am ready to battle; even Attuma, if I must. I have to let all of Talokan know; I am not to be withstood; if so, there are dire consequences.”
“You,” she said. “It’s all about you. Attuma was right, you give the pretense you are doing what is best for us. But it is your needs, your wants that drive you. We are the excuse you use to pull it off.” Namor was on her before she could breathe, his hand raised to back hand her.
Tears filled her eyes, as he lowered it; and turned away. Without another word, she fled into the water, and swam away. He turned, lowering his head; never had he lifted his hand, to harm any of his people. Why now? What was fueling this insanity? Then the answer came to him, like a light bulb brightening a room.
If he allowed Attuma to get away with his defiance of the law and order in place. What would stop another Talokanil feel its alright to challenge his authority? Look what just happened with Namora, her refusing to carry out his order. No, they all, Wakandans and Talokanils; have to know who he is, K'uk'ulkan, the Feather Serpent God.
Shuri checked in on Okoye, after preparing for Attuma arrival if Griot is correct. They haven’t been able to pick up on his whereabouts, since the estimated time of his escape from Talokan. They will have to be patient until her gets there, and assist him then. She stared up and one of her display and newest creation.
“This will work well, if everything goes as planned,” she whispered to herself.
“Princess,” Griot interrupted her thoughts.
“Yes,” she replied.
“Okoye’s heart rate has dropped,” he told her. She turned to look at the monitor, and saw a significant decrease. She rushed in and saw she was barely breathing, even with the oxygen mask. She felt that hopelessness resurfaced.
“Attuma, where are you?” She said to herself.
Okoye could hear the pain in Shuri’s voice and wished she could fight her way out of this, but she felt, this was something weapons of war would not defeat. She could feel being pulled into a mist rising up and encircling her. This was not good, she sensed.
Attuma felt this huge dread wash over him. He knew it had something to do with Okoye’s condition. She was sinking into the darkness, the one where there is no returned. He moved to the back of Tmay and hopped onto his tail, then commanded him to toss him as high and far, as possibly. He did.
Attuma flew into the air, and a great distance from where he once had been. He pressed his arms close to his body, making himself a human missile, cutting through the air. He had not tried this before; but understood how Namor felt flying. It was exuberating. He could have done this forever, but without his rebreather; he was going into distress. He guided his body back into the water, and swam with great intensity to get to his destination, Okoye.
“Didn’t Namora pass on my orders?” He asked, one of the warriors, seeing no one was assembled in the meeting hall for his speech.
“No K'uk'ulkan, I have not seen her,” he was told. He looked around, to see if he could find her. “Look for her, and let her know; I want to speak with her. One of the warriors overheard him, and came to him.
“K'uk'ulkan, may I approach?” He asked.
“Yes, you may,” he was curious to what he wanted. “I heard you were asking about Namora?”
“Yes, you know anything about her whereabouts?” He asked.
“I heard a group of warriors talking about her saying, she was leaving forever,” he told him. “And then she swam away on one of the orcas.” Namor’s whole body shook, his heart nearly pausing. He remembered the day she was born, and her excitement to be picked for his training; when she became of age. Now, she’s gone to parts unknown.
“What was that?” He asked, surly he heard wrong.
“They said she told them, she was leaving; and never coming back,” he repeated. “Something about done with this, and not wanting to see the two people she loved the most, killing each other.” Namor thought through what was told him. Then looked at the person, and fanned them away; he looked at the newly elected second in command.
“You are my General now,” he told him. The two he had given the most to; have been his biggest disappointment; and betrayers. “Send out a search party, and bring her back. You will come with me to Wakanda, get your army prepared. We leave very soon.”
“Yes, K’uk’ulkan,” he gave the Talokanil salute, and sped away to carry out his orders. Namor went to her dwelling, just in case; what was told to him was a falsehood. And she was there sulking from their earlier encounter. She was not there, but evidence of her departure showed. She had indeed, gone from Talokan. He would make the both of them a public example; no one rebels against him, and not pay the price in doing so. He went back to his quarters to prepare for their journey; focusing on the easier one, Attuma.
Chapter 10
Okoye sunk lower into obscurity; and the idea was, nothing could be done on their part to help her. Ayo, Aneka, Nakia, lingered at her side; while Shuri continued trying various sequences, that may break, or reverse, what was going on. But all were a failure, she was witnessing the same occurrence as her fight to save her brother.
“Griot, is there any other variation we can try?” She asked, but knew they had tried everything.
“No, Princess, all have been run. Okoye’s heart rate is slowing down to forty.” Griot revealed. Shuri left the lab without a word, and hoped it was true, Attuma is on his way. He was their only hope now.
Attuma raced towards Wakanda and to Okoye; as fast as Tmay could carry him. Now, Attuma was never one of patience, and not one at the time of desperation. He swam to the back of Tmay again and got on his tail, and by instinct the whale swung him out of the water as far as possible.
Again, Attuma tighten his arms close to his body, giving himself that better propulsion. This cut down the distance between Wakanda and himself. When he felt the distress from lack of breath, he lowered his head and cut through the water with enormous speed. He was a man on a mission, and sparing none of his abilities; time was of the essence.
M'bandi laid by the banks of Okoye’s first interaction with Attuma. She had been there all night, waiting for some reason. But somehow, she sensed him coming; and called out to him. Tmay heard her in the distance, and rushed under Attuma, flipped him one more time into the air, and towards the banks. Attuma could see Mbandi waiting for him. He landed inches from her, mounted her, and guided her along the banks. He needed to get where the warriors of the river tribe were, and seek their help to get to Okoye.
Okoye felt herself being pulled into darkness, it was quiet and cold; she could hardly see inches in front of her. There was a small speck of light before her; she had the urge to follow it. The closer she got, the larger it grew; until she walked through it, and unto another place.
“No,” Shuri put her kimoyo beads on her chest, trying to revive her dear friend. Ayo called M'Baku, informing him of Okoye’s change of condition. He rushed over to be there for the women, if things went bad.
Attuma made it to the where the warriors guarded the border. He slid off M'bandi, weaken from not having his mask. One came to him, as he was on his knees trying to tell them that he needed to get to Okoye, but none spoke his language. One called the Palace informing them of his arrival, and him trying to tell them something.
“Attuma is at the river tribe, and he is not looking good,” M'Baku informed Shuri. She rushed from Okoye’s side, and into her lab. There was nothing more she could do for Okoye, and hoped Attuma could.
“Go to the platform, when the jet arrives, place this mask on him immediately,” she instructed, her two lab assistants. Then went to the jet simulator, and sent one to get Attuma. He laid on the ground barely alive, when the aircraft came and hovered over him. The beam lifted him aboard and whisked him away, and landed on the platform near the lab. The lab assistants rushed aboard and immediately placed the mask on him. Soon he had regained some of his strength, and gestured he needed to get to Okoye. They didn’t understand him what he was saying, but only went by what Shuri had instructed. To bring him directly to her.
Okoye looked around and knew she was somewhere, but not sure where. The coloring were shades of blues and purples. In the distance she could see her home. She slowly made her way there, looking for her dear pet rhino, Mbandi; to come running anytime, to meet her with that long-wet tongue against her face.
Attuma was brought to Shuri's laboratory, she was happy to see him. She grabbed his arm, and raced to where Okoye’s laid, expired as far as they knew; but hoped he could work some type of miracle to revive her. He entered to room, and looked upon her lifeless body. His heart breaking at the sight, but waste no time gathering her into his arms. He cradled her head with one hand, looking at her beautiful face.
“You all may want to leave,” he said. But gestured with his hand.
“What is he saying?” M'Baku asked.
“Griot,” Shuri called out to her AI, but when Attuma pressed his mouth to Okoye’s but, and begin to hum, everyone exited quickly, not wanting to feel the siren effect. It first started off low, then crescendo into a song more than a hum. A song that told a tale of them, and the life ahead; for just the two of them.
“Okoye,” his voice flowed through the air, caressing her ear. She was in front of her house, walking towards it, and getting ready to go on the porch. But she turned, to see him running to her; after hearing him calling her.
“Attuma?” She questioned him being there. Was this another out of body experience she has been going through, since the merging. Or was it just a dream.
“Okoye,” he was just a few feet from her, but wasn’t allowed to go any further. She would have to choose to come to him, and back to her life. “You need to come to me, if you go into your house; you will never see any of us again.” She looked at her house, then back to him.
“What are you saying?” She asked, bewildered. So much stranger than life occurrences. “Why would I not ever see anyone again, if I go into my house?”
“Because, this is the place you all go for the tonality of your existence,” he explained. She gasped.
“The Ancestral Plane?” She asked. “I am dead?”
“Not yet, but if you go inside your house, you will be,” he told her. Now, she understood why M’bandi wasn’t present. She looked about her knowing, but needed confirmation. “Is this a dream?”
“No, my dear warrior, this is real. I am here to bring you back to us, and complete our bond,” he told her. “But it has to be your choice.” Okoye stared at her house, as it beckoned to her, then looked to Attuma with his outstretched hand. Finally, a chance to feel him, she walked into his arms; hearing the beautiful song he was singing to her, and just for her.
She opened her eyes and focus them, as his face became clearer. He had this beautiful smile, that lit up once their eyes met. He lowered his head, removing his mask, and kissed her for the first time in reality. She moaned from the passion that exuberated from him.
The energy that coursed between them was powerful. He raised his head, parting their lips, and placed the mask back on; his eyes never left hers. Slowly, the others entered the room, hearing the song had ceased; they were elated to see Okoye alive and well.
“She will need to regain her strength, but she is alright, and we are now mates,” he told them. Okoye translated what he said.
“Tell him I made something for him, when he can spare the time,” Shuri told her. Okoye told him.
“Alright everyone,” M'Baku said. “Let’s give them their privacy. There will be plenty of time to play catch up later.” Reluctantly, they did as what was told, but understood what he was saying. Attuma was too into Okoye to noticed they had left, his eyes continued gazing into hers. He sighed a huge relief, having her there in his arms, the vibe completed.
“How did you get out of prison?” She asked.
“You remembered coming to see me?” He asked, surprised. He knows the ritual of the vibe, but never actually experienced it. Some things, that may happen; could be new to him as well.
“Yes, I remember everything,” she told him. “I remember your kiss each time.” Attuma smiled. Of all that happened, she mentions their kiss.
“Nothing more?” He asked. She went solemn, trying to recall her everything.
“Each time I came was for a reason, but you would always warn me to go back. That’s when you would kiss me, and I wound up back here,” she told him.
“As you become stronger, you will remember more,” he said. “Now rest my warrior.” He laid her head down on the pillow.
“I am not a warrior anymore,” she told him, he could hear the sadness. “I was stripped of my positioned, by the Queen when you took the Princess. I promised her I would protect Shuri, but I failed.”
“But we fought on the ship,” he was confused.
“Something Shuri had created before I was demoted,” she explained.
“Maybe something you might want to explore?” he suggested. She thought about it, they already have a name. Maybe even recruit more to form another branch of their military. “Once a warrior always a warrior,” he told her. “Let me go see what the Princess has for me. Rest, I will return.”
Shuri was having Griot to analyze, and monitor Okoye’s progress when Attuma entered. She went to one of her glass displays, and showed him her latest creation. A suit made just for him, to be out of water for periods of time. It had the similar covering over their gills, which held water. But instead of the mask, it had the nose spectum, and tubes extending from them to the suit; circulating water through the nose.
“Try it on,” Shuri told him. “I need to make sure it fits, how comfortable you are in it, and most of all; if it works properly.” Griot set the translator for each of them. Attuma begin to strip down which shocked Shuri.
“No, no, hold on.” She stopped him. “In here,” she took him to a private room. She forgot how wild and free the Talokanils are, unlike the Wakandans. Well, some other tribes outside the five main ones; do have their rituals. Attuma reappeared in his suit, looking quite different from what he had looked before. Full body suit with the added apparatus to breath on land. “Nice,” she gave him the thumbs up.
“How will I mate with my warrior, with this clothing covering my body?” He asked. Shuri's eyes darted about, not quite sure how to address this question.
“I think maybe you should work that out with your mate,” is the best answer she could give him. He left her to deal with her embarrassment. Boy, is he got it for Okoye, she thought.
Okoye had drifted off to sleep; her body finally shutting down, to recover from the trauma it went through. Attuma came in and sat beside her, gazing upon the one he fought so hard to save. He leaned in and kissed her lightly on the forehead.
“Sleep my warrior, we have plenty of time now,” he told her. The suit was already regenerating his diminished strength; used to get there, and bring her back from the brink of death. It was not an easy task, so much could have gone wrong.
Namor swam into the Capitol city of Talokan, descending on the throne. He announced they will be going to Wakanda; only to retrieve Attuma, and bring him back to stand trial for treason. And if the Wakandans stand in the way; they will have his wrath rain down on them. They will suffer worst than the previous attack.
“Liik’iK Talokan,” he repeated three times with his people repeating back. Then he grabbed his spear, and swam out, heading for Wakanda; he warriors flanking him, and others following him. Once they had passed. A cloaked Wakandan warship, that sat above Talokan; may its appearance, then another, and thereafter a third.
“This is Captain Wabungobo, Sir, he spoke into the ship’s radio. “It’s as you predicted; our sonars picked up a massive number of figures heading towards Wakanda.”
“Wait for my orders,” M'Baku told him.
“Yes, My King,” he replied. M’Baku went to the window, their Queen had been water bombed, and killed. It will not go unanswered this time, if they choose to attack. Namor has no idea, what is in stored for his people, and him. Never again; will Wakanda suffer as before, and not answer in like manner.

Chapter One
The plane soared through the sky, dipping at intervals; flying over the dense green forestry. The river cutting through it, winding around bends snakelike.
“Oh, it’s so beautiful up here.” The woman exclaimed.
“Yeah, I’m glad you decided to take this trip with me.” Her partner stated.
“I’m glad too. And if I had known it was this much fun, I would’ve joined you long time ago.” She told him.
“Look down there, it’s the most beautiful place in the world.” He spoke.
“Wow, it is beautiful, honey,” she said to him. “What was that?” The aircraft dropped significantly, and shook profusely.
“I’m not sure, the turbulence maybe,” he said, checking his panel.
“Honey?” She shrieked, as it made a greater dip. He tried to regain control, and level it off, without results.
“Oh no, I can’t pull it up,” he shouted to her.
“Honey?” She looked at him, terror gripping her face.
“Oh god, we’re going to crash,” told her. “Mayday, mayday.” He yelled into the radio his distress call.
“Aaaiiieee!!” The screeching sound of a woman horrified of her pending possible death.
Sometime later...........
The patrons sat throughout the cigar, cigarette, smoke-filled bar; discussing how their lives sucked, or not. Others told jokes, causing groups to burst out from time to time with laughter. A few sat at the bar counter, watching whatever sports were being shown.
All eyes turned towards the door, when two professionally dressed men entered. The two looked far out of place; in comparison to the others inside the establishment. They searched pass the mist of smoke floating in the air; seeking the one person they needed. Their eyes fell on a corner of the room, finding whom they sought. They started their way towards him; ignoring the eyes locked in on them.
He was leaning back in his chair, his legs extended out, and crossed at his ankles. On the table, sat a nearly half-filled pitcher of beer. He never looked up to them, as they approached; taking a swig of the beer.
He had already observed the men, the moment they entered the bar. He was quite aware of whom they were; and why they had come to him. He continued drinking his beverage; even as they stood at his table, giving each other looks; then back to him.
“I was told you were the best at what you do. Is that true?” Finally, one growing impatient, addressed him. He continued to ignore them; gulping down the last of the beer in his mug. Everyone in the bar had become silent; curious at the outcome of the state of the men, after dealing with this one.
“My client is willing to pay you whatever you ask; if you decide to take this assignment.” The other one spoke up. And to back up his statement; set a briefcase, they had brought along with them, on the table. Then he unlocked and opened it, revealing stacks of one thousand dollars each, neatly placed in rows.
He leaned in, and reached a enormous hand into the briefcase; picking out a stack. He ran a thumb over the edges, causing them to flip pass it. Then proceeded to counted each of the stacks likewise. The other patrons gasped, never having seen so much money. He slowly raised his head, and stared down each; who dared to focus their attention on him, and his transaction in progress. They quickly turned away, and went about their business. Soon, everything was back at its noisy self as previously.
“I’ll take the assignment on one condition,” he lifted his dark glasses up, and stared at the two for the first time. He crossed his arms and relaxing them on the table. His black eyes were piercing, as he studied each man closely. He scratched the back of his neck with one finger. “I pick the men who will go with me.”
“No problem, but there is one more thing; my client wants to accompany you on the assignment.” The first who had spoken to him, informed him. He looked away from the men; taking in a deep breath, then letting it go freely. He glared at them, then slowly rose to his feet. The two men moved backwards, as the man exhibit his full height; nearly seven feet.
“I don’t need your client, or anyone else; to get in my way,” he told them. His voice was low and deep. “Or directing me on doing my job, and the men I choose.” His voice carrying through the building interior. Everyone continued doing whatever they were doing, and knew to mind their business. Especially if he seemed angry.
“Bu..... bu..... but, Sir. This is part of the terms of the agreement. My client won’t have it anyway; or they will choose to seek help elsewhere.” The other said nervously, never moving his eyes from the huge man.
He paused for a moment; looking into space, his hands on hips, thinking over what was just stated. He took in a deep breath, and just as quick, let it out. He turned without a word, and went back into his seat. Then poured a mug of beer, and downing it; never looking at them.
“Take your money; and tell your client, I declined. It’s my way, or the highway,” He peered over the rim of the mug at them; replacing his dark glasses over his eyes. Then pushed the chair back, and strolled pass the men, and out the front door. The two men watched him disappear; as all eyes turn towards them. They turned to looked at each other, confused at what had happened.
“How are we going to let her know, it was a bust?” The first said to the other.
“I don’t know, but I’m glad I’m not in your shoes.” He said this, and left the first one standing there. He sat down at the table, and beckoned to a waitress.
“Yes, what can I do for you?” She asked. He looked at her, then the half empty pitcher of beer.
“Another mug, and fill the pitcher with more beer, please,” He might as well enjoy his life as he knows it. Tomorrow will be the beginning of the end. He sat contemplating, how he was going to explain, the failure to acquire him.
“What do you mean we lost him?” She yelled into her kimoyo beads. “You imbecile, he was the best. I would never have thought of asking anyone else. Why did you tell him I would?” She continued to shout.
“His way or the highway? That’s my damn husband we're talking about. I can’t stand this; never mind, I’ll talk to him myself. Where is that place again? Thank you, for nothing.” She shut off her beads, crossing her arms over her chest, and massaging the bridge of her nose; trying to relieve her tension. She felt the tears welling up in her eyes.
It had been several weeks, since her husband went down over a small island some distance outside of Wakanda. Everyone had given up hope, but not her. How could this man not want her to go along with him? She needed to be there, searching for her husband. She has to know, if he was alright. She couldn’t stand this waiting any longer. Didn't he understand? She had to be there, when her husband was found; dead or alive. She has to put some closure to all of this. Not knowing was the hardest. Well, she would make him understand. She grabbed her shoulder bag, and ran out the door.
Chapter Two
He sat in his usual corner of the place, drinking his beer. He was oblivious to his surroundings, and never noticed the hush that came over the bar; nor the woman coming towards him. He didn’t until....
“Are you the gentlemen, I sent my lawyers to speak with?” Her voice flowed into his ears, causing him to lift up his head, honing in on the direction it had emanated. He looked up into her face, and into her deep brown eyes, that captured him immediately; and they seemed to draw him in. She was a classy lady, tall and slender; athletic body, but curvy. She had the most beautiful smooth dark mocha skin. Her head shaved close to the skin, smoothly and had these distinct tattoos. He figured she was either military of Wakanda, or previously had been.
He continued to stare into her enchanting eyes; she never took her eyes from his. He established, she was strong and determined one, and most possibly use to getting her way. But not with him, he thought; as he set his jaws. Pretty or not, he wasn’t going to give in on his decision.
“Are you the one, I sent my lawyers to speak too?” She repeated the question, which brought him out of the daze he had fallen.
“I am,” he finally answered. He couldn’t understand; why he was so out of wits with this woman? Maybe because she commanded respect? He couldn’t say.
“May I sit, and have a word with you? Since my lawyers weren’t able to convince you, to take the assignment.” She looked at the empty chair across from him, then back to him.
“Sure, have a seat. Would you like something to drink?” He asked, beckoning to a waitress. She pulled the chair from under the table, and sat. She looked to him.
“Yes, a margarita, if you don’t mind,” she had to gain a common ground with him, and drinking with him would hopefully do it. She glanced around, waving at a trail of smoke flowing pass her face. He glanced at her momentarily; then gave the waitress her order. He noticed she seemed slightly edgy.
“Now Mr. Attuma, is that your first or last name?” She asked, only getting a single name from her contact. She added the ‘Mr.’ to be safe.
“Attuma is the name I’m called, no need to add the ‘Mr.’” He added, giving a chuckle. She was confused to what was so humorous.
He poured himself another mug of beer, watching her every movement, and expression. She shifted in her chair, as he was making her very nervous. She couldn’t help to observe; he was quite a huge man. She had heard so, but never expected him to be this large.
He had a handsome rough around the edges look. She was mesmerized by his clear black eyes, blood-shot and all. His black hair intensified them, as it was pulled back into a singular braid. He wore a black bandana, wrapped around his head, and tied in the back. His attire were a denim vest and pants, with a Tee Shirt under the vest. His blue skin looking rugged.
She saw he had one of those special rebreathers, most land dwelling Talokanils used these days. Courtesy of the brilliant mind of Shuri. Something she thought was unique, was the shark bones implanted at the point of his chin. Both ears had large pierced earrings, jaded jewelry she guessed.
Attuma continued eyeing her, as she eyed him. He took he threw back a small glass of liquor, and chased it with a swig of beer, and made a growling sound, slamming the mug on the table. He leaned in, knowing she didn’t come all this way to drink with him.
“Attuma, I know you had decided not to take this assignment, because my lawyers explained; I was going to accompany you.” She sensed his impatience, and chose to get right to the point. He leaned back in his chair, folding his arms over his chest. Very straight forward, he thought.
She glanced down to her hands, gripping them, and searching for words to say; that will make him understand, how desperately she needed to go on this journey. She didn’t want to end this, before she got started.
“If I say to you, I will give complete control over to you. You will be in command, no questions asked. I will follow your orders.” Attuma continue to stare at her, silently. “Would you reconsidered, and take the assignment? “
“I don’t know,” he faltered on deciding.
“Will you please take this assignment, and allow me to accompany you? (Taking a deep breath) I can’t stand this not knowing. My lawyers were wrong. I have no other, who I trust; to do this job, but you. I have to be there, no matter what.” She dug in her shoulder bag looking for a handkerchief, feeling the tears gathering in her eyes.
Attuma observed for a moment; as she tried to dry the tears, now streaming over her cheeks. His heart felt a tug on it, and looked down at the table; thinking of everything she had said. He looked pass her, at nothing in particular.
“I’ll be in complete control of this assignment?” He looked into the wet eyes, now staring at him. She nodded her head, feeling he was ready to give in.
“No questions asked?” He continued.
“No questions asked.” She repeated, feeling finally, a glimpse of hope.
“Okay Ms. Okoye, I’ll get my men together. We’ll meet in a week.” He told her. She smiled, relieved. Attuma looked at the expression on her face, and the beautiful smiled she displayed. He was beginning to feel a little envious of the man, who held her heart.
“Thank you Attuma, you won’t regret this; in a week. And please, ditch the ‘Ms’ and call me Okoye.” She extended her hand to shake his.
Attuma looked at her hand, for what seemed like ages; before standing to his feet, and engulfing it in his own. A surge of energy, coursed through their bodies. He looked deep into her tantalizing eyes, locking in on them. She couldn’t tear her gaze from the hypnotizing dark orbs, staring through her.
It seemed as if their bodies were being drawn to each other; before being snapped back to reality. Her husband’s face filled her mind; she jumped back from him, turning her eyes from his, and retrieving her hand. She ran her hands down the front of her, as if smoothing out her outfit. She snatched her shoulder bag off the table.
“Thank you again, so much Attuma. I’ll be seeing you in a week, and until then.” She said, and swiftly turned away; making a speedy retreat from him.
He was transfixed on her every step, until she vanished from his sight. He took his seat, thinking about her. She seems strong, but she’s fragile, and doesn’t know it yet. He gulped the remaining of his beer down, threw the waitress a tip on the table, and left.
Chapter Three
She rode in one of the private planes of the family, heading home. What was she thinking? What was all that back there? Just because he was the man of her dreams. Well, before W’Kabi came into her life, Attuma would have definitely been her fantasy man.
Big and burly, rough, man of the world or ocean. She chuckled at how the alliance has created intertwining of the two kingdoms. More of the Wakandans have made their home in Talokan, and vice versa for the Talokanils. Marriage between them has become a common practice.
She wondered how he would look with that hair loose, cascading over his shoulders, and down his back. Oh, and those eyes. She couldn’t hardly take hers away from them, they had a grip on her, she had to forcibly pull a way. She imagined him hovering over her, their faces not even an inch apart; his long thick hair, draping down at the sides of their faces, like a curtain.
“No, this can’t be happening,” she said out loud.
“Yes, Miss Okoye,” the pilot hearing her outburst.
“Nothing,” she lied. “I was just thinking out loud.”
“I see,” he said. “We are home.” He landed the plane on the landing pad near the large mansion. She exited the aircraft and made her way into her house. Her mind lingering on her encounter with Attuma.
“I love my husband; there I said it. So evil thoughts, free my mind.” She said out loud, tossing her shoulder bag to the side, and kicking off her shoes. ‘Oh, but he was an enormous blue man. What I would give to lay in his arms for just one night. One night? Forever.’ She thought to herself.
“NO, no, no! Please get out of my head. I can’t have these thoughts harboring in my mind. We will be together for days. Trying to locate my husband. Go away malevolent thoughts.” She yelled louder. She wrestled with these thoughts, until a bigger problem stared her in the face. Another craft was landing outside.
“Oh rats,” she screamed, peering out the window; recognizing the plane, and knowing who was coming to visit. They had left the plane, and was running across the field, towards the house. Okoye braced herself against the wall, pounding her fists against it. Why oh why, of all days. Okoye went to the front door, pausing to inhale deeply, and slowly letting it out.
“Okoye. How are you darling” She was greeted by her sister-in-law. She held a drink in one hand, and hugged Okoye with the other arm, as she came into the house; and went into the sitting room.
“I’m doing as well as expected, considering the circumstances.” She answered, and headed for the bar; and retrieving a bottle of water from the small refrigerator. Her sister-in-law looked at her with an; ‘here we go again’ look. “I know all of you have given up hope. But not I. I’ll find him one way or another.” Okoye voice had an edge of anger. Her sister-in-law looked at her.
“It’s been several weeks since the plane went down. They covered every inch of that jungle area. No one could have survived the crash, or they would have found something; other than what was left of the plane.” She relayed to Okoye, trying to help her to grasp on to the reality of the situation.
“But that’s just it. No body, just wreckage. Maybe he went trampling through the forest; searching for a way out. Maybe he’s there with some of the tribes. Maybe like that American movie, Tarzan or that story book tale of that damn Robinson Crusoe. Hell, I don’t know. But whatever the outcome; I need a definite answer. I don’t want to be always wondering...’What if'.” She took a sip of her water, and sat in a chair close to her sister-in-law. Her mind went to her husband; and what if he could be suffering, or if he were still alive.
“Okoye, honey. I know how much you love my brother. You have been a very dutiful wife. But now is the time to think about yourself. It’s time for you to think about moving on.” She sat back in her chair; crossing her legs, staring at her glass. Okoye glared at her, feeling the anger swelling up in her. She took in a deep breath, held it for a moment; as she counted to ten, then released it slowly, feeling herself going light headed.
“I’m very tired. I just came back from making arrangements to go to the island where he crashed on. I’m going to try and find W’Kabi. No matter what your family, or you think.” She said with great determination in her voice. Her sister-in-law glanced up at her for a moment; then shot to her feet, like a panther springing for its prey.
“What? What was that you just said?” She was completely out of sorts. Okoye stared at her, very confused with her response.
“I said, next week I will be going to that island to find W'Kabi. Or what’s left of him. Why are you so upset with this?” She continued to observe her sister-in-law’s demeanor.
“Nothing. It’s nothing.” Is all she could get out. “Um, look Okoye. I have to go. I remembered something I should be doing. I’ll talk with you later, Sweetie. You take care of yourself.” She gave Okoye a quick hug, and kiss on the cheek. Then swiftly made her exit. She watched M’Tami leave in her aircraft; wondering what the hell had gotten into her.
“Yes, I tell you. She’s going to that island. Yes, looking for him. What do you mean stop her? When has anyone ever been able to stop Okoye from doing what she has set her mind set to do?” She spoke into her kimoyo beads, as she flew in her craft.
“Wait, there is something I can do. I’ll play the overly protective sister-in-law that I am. I’ll find out exactly when she plans to leave. And when she does, I’ll be right with her. Thank you. I’ll talk to you later. Goodbye.” She shut down her beads, and smiled in satisfaction; that she had such a devious mind.
Okoye decided to go to bed early. She had so much to do before she made her journey across the ocean. She drew her a bathe, pouring her scented oil into the water. She turned on some soft music, lit some jasmine candles, brought the lights down low. She submerged herself; into the warm soothing water, covering her body. She leaned her head back relaxing, and listening to the music. It had been a long frustrating several weeks, and all this uncertainty was getting to her.
She didn’t know what she would have done, if Attuma hadn’t agreed to let her come along. Attuma. What was that she felt with his touch? Why was he popping up in her mind at this particular moment? She agrees he’s hot, but she is also married.
She has a whole week to get those thoughts of him out of her mind. Finding her husband is the foremost thing on her mind. She bathed herself and got out of the tub, and went into her bedroom. She slowly put on her gown, and sat at her vanity. She began thinking about being in Attuma’s arms; sleeping next to him.
“Oh, please stop. I can’t be thinking these things. I love W'Kabi. But M'Tami was right. I have been a dutiful wife. But I can’t move on until I know for sure, that my life as I know it is no more.” She whispered to herself. She slid into bed, resting her head on her pillow and drifted off to sleep.
Chapter Four
Okoye charted a large private plane for the journey, and any supplies Attuma will need to bring. She had boarded it, and sat waiting; for Attuma and his men to arrive. She didn’t have long, when Attuma entered with three men following behind him. They were just as humongous as him, and eyed her up and down in passing. They went to sit in seats across the aisle from her. She just stared in amazement at the size of these men. One was Talokanil, while the other two were Wakandans.
“Hello Okoye,” Attuma greeted her.
“Hello Attuma,” she replied.
“Let me introduce my men, who will be helping me. Taavi, my brother, Azhni, and Ozhni, they are twins, and both are very close friends of mind. They are from the river tribe.” He finished, as each nodded in her direction; acknowledging her once introduced.
“Hello.” She replied nervously. She looked from one to the other. “I guess we’re ready to go.” As they were all accounted for. Suddenly, a commotion could be heard coming from the entrance. Okoye and Attuma looked at each other, confused. Her eyes widen as M'Tami, her sister-in-law, along with one of her lawyers she had sent to talk with Attuma, entered.
“Oh my, we thought we weren’t going to make it in time.” M’Tami said, taking her a seat in front of Okoye; who looked at Attuma shrugging. He had the look of what the hell. Then she looked over at her lawyer, whom had taken a seat behind the three men. He gave her an ‘I’m sorry' look.
“M’Tami, what are you doing here?” Her voice had a tint of annoyance. Attuma eyes were fixed on her, and could see, she was a fiery one. M'Tami looked at her stunned, by her loud voice.
“Why I couldn’t let you make this trip along. Especially, when Khanje told me who you will be traveling with and when. Don’t be peeved with him, I made him tell me. And besides, look around you. You shouldn’t be alone.” She nudged her head in the direction of the four men, while she whispered the last sentence to her. Attuma was leaning back in his seat, glaring at M'Tami. He took an instance dislike to her, and felt she was trouble.
“Whatever M'Tami, this is going to be a long, and trying trip. Let’s not get started.” She spoke to her, then her eyes fell on Attuma. She nearly laughed at his expression, as he looked at M'Tami very suspiciously.
“Sure honey, anything for you. You know that. I’ll put on my best behavior. You’ll see. You won’t even know I’m here.” She went on and on, the men were huffing a blowing wanting to say, ‘Shut the hell up but they endured, until a reprieve came.
‘Will everyone, please fasten your seatbelt. We will be taking off momentarily.’ The pilot’s voice echoed from the intercom. The plane made a small jerk forward, M’Tami let out a squeal, nervously buckling her seatbelt.
The plane slowly taxied into place, then made its way down the runway, then increased its speed; until it had reached the acceleration desire. It lifted off the ground very smoothly, as M'Tami cowered in her seat, legs pulled up to her chest; her head between her arms.
Attuma looked over at M'Tami, smiling as he unbuckled his seatbelt, and went to get him a drink from the bar; joined by his men. Okoye watched as he left his seat and embedded in her mind, how his hips moved as he suave away. She leaned her head back into the seat; her thoughts of her in his arms, kissing him deeply, and running her hands over his body. Then there is her, never shutting up.
“Okoye?” M'Tami called to her. Interrupting her train of thoughts. She was unloosening her seatbelt, clearly settled down.
“Where did you find these men? Look at them. They’re bandits I tell you.” She whispered, looking back at them, making sure they couldn’t hear her.
“M’Tami, why exactly did you come along? And why didn’t you tell me you were coming?” Okoye looked over to the lawyer; with darts in her eyes, for being so deceitful. He looked up at her, and decided he would take his chances with the rough looking men at the bar.
“So, you got Khanje to tell you everything, huh?” Her eyes followed the lawyer to the bar.
“Well, you know how persuasive I can be.” She proudly said, looking into her compact, licking her lips. “I convinced him not only to tell when you would be leaving, but suggested he should accompany us.” She continued, flicking a strand of hair back. Okoye was shaking her head at him. He shrugged with an ‘I’m sorry’ look, again. M'Tami glance in Okoye’s direction, then turn around to see whom she was glaring at.
“Yeah, he tried to bucked at first. But I informed him; if anything should happen to either one of us, he would be lucky to find a job chasing rhinos; after the family was through with him. He quickly complied.” Finished with her information, she turned around in her seat to face Okoye, only to feel the darts flying from her eyes. She wasn't pleased with the way she ambushed Khanje to get the information.
Attuma stood at the bar with the other men, drinking liquor and beer. His thoughts had drifted off to another place. She was in his arms, their lips were locked, he was tasting the sweet fullness of her lips. His mouth traveled from her lips, over her cheeks, and down her strong jaw, and onward to her neck. Dare he even think about her perky breast?
“Be careful Brother, she’s not your type.” Taavi had saw, how his brother never tore his eyes away from the lady. Attuma gave his brother a long hard look, drank the remainder of his liquor and beer. Then left to go into the cockpit, and check on things.
“You never cease to amaze me. You will do anything to get your way. Even threaten MY lawyer, to divulge private information.” Okoye shook her head as if pitying her. M'Tami's eyes narrowed, as she picked up on Okoye’s attitude.
“I would do anything to preserve the harmony of my family, anything.” Her whole demeanor, had took on a strange mood. Okoye felt an alarm go off. She had never witnessed this side of her sister-in-law. She sat back in her chair, staring at her completely dumbfounded.
‘Anything’ lingered in her mind. What did she mean preserving the harmony? How could finding W'Kabi upset it? Okoye looked out the window, and went into a deep thought. M'Tami's eyes were slits, as she folded her arms, and crossed one leg over the other. She bobbled it up and down nervously, watching Okoye intensely.
Okoye x Attuma: For the Love of You pt 8
Warning: explicit sex scene, oral sex
Chapter Fifteen
With much protest, Attuma was able to get Okoye to laid down and rest. He had promised Shuri, he would do so. He stood over her as she slept, no sooner than her head hit the pillow she drifted off. He left her to explore what he would be calling his home, wife his wife. His wife, had a new meaning for him. To him, it meant; no more loneliness. He was by himself in this world, and literally, neither was she, as they were bound to each other; mind, body, and spiritually.
He went outside and stood on the porch, taking this opportunity to get a true layout of the land. He searched for Mbandi, but saw she was nowhere around. But other rhinos were scattered about grazing in the fields. He was glad to be away from the chaos, and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings of this place.
He went back inside and to Okoye, removing everything but his rebreather apparatus. Then laid next to her, while instinctively she snuggled close to him, with her head on his bare chest. He couldn’t help but smile, overjoyed with finally being there with her. He kissed her softly on the forehead, thinking of when they are able to mate, it will make it that more gratifying.
Then he remembered something Namor had said about Namora being gone. That wasn’t like her to desert Namor, unless she got a glimpse of the monster he ha tried to warn her, Namor is. That would probably be the thing that would send her away. But, he couldn’t help to worry about her out there alone.
“Where are you, Sister?” He expressed to himself.
“What you say, my love?” Okoye asked, hearing him whispering something. He looked down at her, staring up at him.
“Now my wife,” he lied. “Go back to sleep and rest.” Her eyes opened wider and looked him in his eyes, and saw his concern about something.
“Please, my love,” she partially raised up to get a better look at his face. “Let’s not ever withhold anything from each other. Your pain is mine, your joy is mine, and your concerns, are ours. What is bothering you?” He looked at her and wondered if he could love her anymore as he did at this moment.
“Just something that bothered me, something Namor said while we fought.” He told her.
“Is there not anything he says, that won’t be a bother?” She adjusted herself further up him.
“Yes, but this time it alarmed me,” he wrapped an arm about her, as she had move a little up aligned with his shoulder. He begin to massage her shoulder, while thinking. She rested her had on his midsection, and realized it was bare, then she moved it down further, touching his thigh. Her eyes widen, discovering he was next to her in the nude. Oh, for Bast sake, she thought to herself.
“What did he say, that has you so concerned?” She inquired, trying to distract the fact, this magnificent man, who happens to be hers; was laying next to her displaying everything. that could give her the most time of her life.
“Namora,” he revealed. “She is gone.” Attuma never noticed where her hand had rested, still in his thoughts about Namora. , he didn’t pay attention, that her hand had crept into his over his manhood, since he slept in the nude.
“Gone? Where?” She asked, as her hand crept a little closer to his manhood to get a full idea, with what she could look forward to.
“I don’t know, and I am worried about her,” he told her, then realizing where her hand had touched him. He let out a groan and stared at her surprised. “What are you doing?” She gave him a grin. Her hands were working magic, he forgot about the conversation and flipped her over unto her back. “I wanted you to get your strength back so you can enjoy our mating.
“I don’t want to wait,” she gazed into his eyes, wanting him. He looked at her, and saw she was pleading, and that is not what he ever wants her to do.
“But I made a promise to Shut I not to allow you to over exert yourself,” he reminded her.
“Shuri and you have to understand,” she said. “I am not as fragile as either of you think. Besides, you should know how to do this without any exertion on my part. Can you?” She gazed into his eyes, searching for an answer. She found it as this interesting smile came over his face.
”Hmm” is all she could respond.
“I will give you what you desire, me,” he said to her. “But enough for you to rest, my wife.” With that being said, he leaned in and covered her mouth with his own, kissing her with passion she had ever know. Their dream state kisses couldn’t prepare her for what real time would play out before her.
She didn’t take in consideration; super human’s making love, is not the same as regular human’s lovemaking. Every kiss, every touch, and every joining together will be more intense. So, she wasn’t ready for him, and his unbounding affection; he was about to unleash on her. Even though, it will only be a sample of what’s to come.
Okoye moaned into his mouth, his hands moved above her breasts, a tingling flowed into one, then to the other. He raised his head disconnecting their lips, and kissed cheek, then her chin, her neck and to her breast, as his hands made their journey down her body, sending a sensation through it.
His long tongue moved over one breast, then to the other; causing her nipples to rise up. She groaned, and maybe uttered his name once or twice. This excited him more, knowing he was pleasing her. He did this thing with his tongue, that made her body shuddered.
His hand had reached its destination and moved over her clit, causing her to shift her hips slightly, he caught that and decided to play there some more. He was studying what aroused her and gave her the most pleasure, and made a mental note. She groaned with feeling his hand gently massaging the area, doing tricks she had never experienced. She moved her legs further apart, as his finger traveled into her touching everything he moved across, and taking his time.
She felt an interesting sensation light her up down there, her hips bucked when he lifted them to easy access and begin to kiss her as he had on her lips. She may have squealed, or more like screamed, an oh Attuma; or something in that manner. His tongue did anything and everything to make her call out, one way or another. He found her doing this, fueled him on.
He tasted of the sweet juices that flowed from her, persuading him to give her more. He was like a hungry beast, ravishing its prey; sending shockwaves through her body and shaking her very core. she realized how much her body had been taking to new height, and was releasing an overflow of herself.
Attuma drank intoxicated from her sensual fluids, now flowing freely. He was like a vacuum, sucking in anything that touched his lips. Again, she called to him out him; to stop, or continue. Hell, she didn’t know, she was going out of her mind. He was as prestigious in his skills, as he exhibited that night on the bridge; focus and precise.
Maybe he was right, and she should have regained more of her strength. But damn, if this is him being gentle; what will it be like, when he gives it his all? She continued releasing herself, not able to control it; his tongued lapped up the remaining residue. Her body went limp, and he came over her; placing himself adjacent to her, and between her legs.
He slowly moved his hips, as if swimming in the ocean, and joined them as one. He lifted her into his arms cradled her head in his one hand, kissing her tenderly. He knew she was exhausted and needed to end it, but he had to finish what had been started. His kiss was so relaxing, and soothing; her body received him as he inched his way into her, stretching her inner walls to their limits. It was pleasure without pain, they fit together like a glove to a hand.
He made her feel so loved and adored; he was all she would ever need. He severed the kiss, gazing into her eyes, and saw he had done his job. He released himself into her, giving all his fervor within him and into her. He felt so warm sliding along her smooth tissue, she countered with her own. He rolled over unto his back, and brought her on top of him. She laid on him listless, his arms holding her in place. He gingerly kissed the top of her head.
“If this is the vibe,” her voice barely a whisper. “It was exhilarating.”
“I did not vibe us, yet,” he informed her. She slightly lifted her head upwards to stare him in the face.
“What?” she questioned. “Not the vibe? Then what would call it?”
“You would not have withstood it. I just did what you call loving you,” he explained.
“Oooh, Goddess, help me,” she exclaimed; and laid her head back on his chest. He smiled. ‘If this wasn’t vibe, what is that going to be like?’ She thought to herself. Attuma had thoughts of when they did vibe, and what it will be like; if this was a sample.
M'Baku tooK a leave of absence from his kingly duties, and flew to a secluded beach; to enjoy some him time. He walked along the shore; the waves moving over the sand, then back out to sea. The beautiful sunset coming into display; the moon lingered in the background, ready to make its appearance. The landscape was so enticing, shroud in its tranquility.
The mountains were what touched him the most. His longing to for days pass of him ruling the Jabari tribe; separate from the rest of the Wakandans. But that was then, and this is now. He strolled down further along the, his guards ordered to hold back, and allow how him some space.
Then he noticed something laying on the beach, half out of the water. It was someone in need of help. He ran to the tiny figure and saw they were Talokanil, from the skin tone. He gently turned her over, seeing it was a female. He recognized her right off.
“Namora?” He called to her. “Where is your breathing mask?” He noticed it wasn’t present. He quickly picked her up in his arms and carried her into the water, placing her under, while he continued to hold her. She took it in feeling herself being revitalized, she slipped out of his arms.
“King M'Baku,” she acknowledged him by name. “What are you doing so far from your throne?”
“I asked you first,” he replied. “Where is your breathing mask? And if I may ask, where were you when Attuma and Namor had a battle for the throne?” She gave him this surprise expression.
“Battle for the throne?” She looked about, then at him. “Attuma or none of us in Talokan would try to overthrow our K'uk'ulkan.” She said, then seem to be fading.
“He won but didn’t assume the throne on one condition,” he informed her.
“He didn’t?” She smiled at that news. “I knew he wouldn’t, unless it was necessary. What was the condition?”
“That he never come after Wakanda again,” he answered. She nodded in approvable. Then collapsed, M'Baku caught her in his arms.
“What’s wrong, Namora?” He inquired. “You want me to send for Namor?” She squirmed in his arms to get away, but she was too weak. Besides, M'Baku strength was too strong for her on her best days.
“No, please no,” she was emphatic. He didn’t know what was going on with Namor and her, but he would respect her wishes.
“Want me to contact Attuma?” He thought she would be more acceptable to him.
“Attuma? You know where he is?” She was sinking.
“Yes, he’s one of us now, with his wife Okoye,” he informed her, he could see whatever happened wasn’t good.
“Then I too will be apart of you,” she said verily able to speak. “But promise me, not even Attuma will know my whereabouts, until I am ready.” Before he could promise, she fainted. M'Baku race towards his men; and order them on the jet.
“Get us to the lab,” he commanded the pilot. He just hopes they could make it in time. Shuri will know what to do.
“So, about Namora,” Okoye laid next to him with her head on his chest.
“I need to find her,” he told her.
“No, we need to find her,” she told him. He looked down at her and smiled, never had he been so happy to have her in his life.
