1 Hamster in 2 very different Guinea Pig mugs:
the first mug is an official Disney product promoting their film “G-Force”, in which highly tech-savvy cavies save the day with plenty of high-action adventure!!
the second mug depicts a granny guinea pig wearing a old-fashioned hat with netting, peering out through bifocal-style glasses, whose idea of adventure probably is limited to the excitement of the backyard garden party that she seems to be hosting (if the line of festive pendants hung from the trees in the background is any indication) and whose level of tech-knowledge probably leaves her baffled as to how the cup she is on was even purchased: “It involved that internet thing somehow, you say? Well consider me lost already! But please do try some of these delicious cheerio-shaped refreshments!!” (both images are from “Sebastian the Hamster” on Facebook)
I’ve been wanting to post a cover of this for FOREVER (also this is orphydice)
Old Fashioned Hat - Anaïs Mitchell
Day 25: Biggest secret?
Old Fashioned Hat by Anais Mitchell
(now ya’ll all know what i regularly listen to)
the first and only recording i did of this song. no edits, no retakes, cracks and wrong chords and all, i decided to post it. maybe i’ll do a lengthy post on what this song and all of Anais Mitchell’s songs have meant to me this past semester, but for now, enjoy this not so gorgeous cover of an insanely gorgeous song!
Clearly I remember when / I used to scratch my poems / on the backs of other lovers in / the darkness of my mind / Back before I made my home / in the marrow of your bones / Now I know your figure like my own / even from behind
