Gravy went to her new home today. She’s a lovely girl, but she doesn’t make the breeding cut and the other chickens keep picking on her. I think she’ll do just fine as a pet.
Although today was beautiful, last night was a sad one for us as we said goodbye to our dear old Susie C. Sussex. Susie was one of oldest hens (in her teens) so her passing was not unexpected, but we will miss her and her commentary on the days events.
