Negator (Monster)
(Phyrexian Negator by John Zeleznik)
CR16 NE Medium Aberration (Phyrexian)
(The negator is another iconic creature, although one whose card is simply not up to snuff nowadays- the balance of power has tipped so that its astronomical drawback is not worth the creature you get. Still, the obliterator is clearly a riff on it- and got its own, incredibly aesthetically boring riff later- and even then it's simply too fabulous a design not to use. Can you say "xenomorph"?
Lorewise, these explicitly saw most usage in the leadup to full invasion- perhaps, in a hypothetical Phyrexia campaign, this could be the final boss of the second act, before the REAL invasion force finally arrives.)
CR16 NE Medium Aberration (Phyrexian)
Negators are perfected assassins of Phyrexia, designed to eliminate key targets with compleat efficiency. They are singleminded in this pursuit- one infamous document stated simply "It exists to cease." Indeed, a negator's heart is terribly stilled- they are not known to experience any emotion but the satisfaction of a job well done and the desire to achieve so.
Negators, being stealth operatives and assassins, are rarely used once a full-scale invasion begins, although they are often deployed just in the leadup to it. Each negator is given all Phyrexia knows of its target, and is simply placed as close as Phyrexia can get it without garnering attention and sent to kill. Negators are surprisingly skilled at stealth and disguise, able to walk as a hunched figure through whatever streets it may need to to reach its target, and are surprisingly eloquent and skilled actors when they need to lie. Once it makes its kill, however, a negator rarely makes time for stealth. Such negators will begin a return to Phyrexia (such that they might possibly be reset, reprogrammed, and reused), but generally lack the precautions of one who has yet to make a kill. These assassinations are its purpose; it seems some higher part of it shuts off once it is done.
what is phyrexia/gq
ok so there's two phyrexias. there's the old phyrexia and the new one.
both have something in common - the glistening oil. basically everyhting it corrupts becomes part of Phyrexia.
old phyrexia is. well. old. and run by the man-turned-god Yawgmoth, the Father of Machines. basically he was a bastard who lied a lot and tried to take over dominaria. this phyrexia is characterised by machine body horror. this bitch of a place was defeated by urza's legacy weapon
urza made a robot who we all love called karn. out of his trans friend's heart. by the by, that trans friend was a phyrexian. and the heart is leaking oil.
karn's fine, he's a planeswalker and they're immune (except from when they aren't). but he makes a plane of artifacts called argentum, and makes a guardian for it, memnarch.
the thing is, some of the oil leaks from his body onto argentum and corrupts memnarch, turning him mad. memnarch renames the plane to mirrodin
after memnarch is defeated by glissa sunseeker, slobad and geth (and maybe others idk), the oil stays. it corrupts the heart of mirrodin and starts churning out phyrexians. but these ones are weird in another way, they're each focused on a colour.
there's a whole war between mirrans and phyrexians, phyrexians win. karn got corrupted, then uncorrupted
there's now a bunch of spheres. one for each colour plus a few more
the machine orthodoxy is white, run by Elesh Norn. religious flesh palace! run by dogma
the dross pits are black, run by Sheoldred. they're the old-phyrexia aesthetic, with an emphasis on grafting things onto the self to become stronger. geth is here, he's phyrexian now
the progress engine is blue, run by Jin-Gitaxias. he's obsessed with knowledge and they do pointless and cruel experiments
the tangle/vicious swarm are green and run by Vorinclex. he's a social darwinist running wild and free. glissa is here as his second in command
the furnace is red, and 'run' by Urabrask, but he mostly lets everyone do whatever. a big focus on reforging of the self and feeling. this sphere is the one that mirrans are most 'welcome' on, but realistically that means that they're ignored
Decima Aligheri - Path of the Beast Barbarian
Underneath it all, what would Decima look like? As she comes into her own in the upcoming sessions of the adventure ahead, more and more of her "inner perfection" would start to show. In aiming for a Old Phyrexian weeping mask look for her face, drawing a little bit of inspiration from various Invasion block art, a little bit of Eva, and then stumbling into a little bit of modern Gix.
This Commander deck is centered around the lore of the _Invasion_ block. The Com...
Hey guys, check out one of my extremely lore focused Commander decks: The Coalition Rides Again!
If you’ve ever wanted the entire Weatherlight crew in one deck, this is it! It’s obviously not the best and tends to lose a lot, but when it wins, it’s a welcome surprise. It’s a blast to play and isn’t meant to be competitive but if anyone has feedback (other than more lands) let me know!
Hello!
Welcome to yet another phyrexian side blog!
Im not sure what name to use here so just call me by my blog name for now.
I am 24 years old and go by She/Her.
This blog is mostly just meant to be a place where I can spam phyrexian (and other magic the gathering stuff).

Would Modern rain's dragons be able to turn into cars?
Absolutely
(Just realized how awful these were djsjsnxhak)
Pestyl would be an exotic car similar to a Lamborghini
Piston being older would look like a Mustang
And Poxal would be similar to the Toyota from Initial D
Does Rain loooove Parizel~?
