oooh tbh @maybeanartist02 i’m not nearly up to date on wtnc, so i won’t be remotely detailed about setting and backstory as it may no longer fit, but i’ve got

theodore kratochvil: bookish, paranoid, dry-humored, and disorganized to the point of hilarity. distrustful of everyone and everything and criminally unable to let his guard down 

and 

nora penke, his polar opposite: “innocent until proven guilty,” shy but networks with everyone constantly because she believes it’s the best way to do her job, relatively oblivious to subtle humor but quick to laugh anyway. trusts too easily but because of that is never surprised when she’s betrayed; has 28768372 contingency plans in place for everything

12 and 14 for Theo??

12. What kind of first impression do they make? Is it accurate?

theo’s universal first impression is like. bored and tired and a bit of an unknown variable. even when he’s being his Polite Hunter Self with his superiors, that stuff leaks through, and those are entirely accurate. however, people also often assume that he’s pretty much emotionless, because of his reticence- that’s the not accurate bit.

14. How tall are they? How are they built?

he’s 6′1 and bony as fuck. he’s more fit than he looks, and someone would be hard-pressed to snap him over their knee, but he’s like 70% arms and legs and looks a bit gawkish. without clothes on you can tell a bit better that he has some actual muscle mass, but fully clothed he looks like he’s been stretched in a taffy machine.

3. What are their first impressions of Lunaris? The LIs?

lunaris: far too cold. far too much fog. this is the kind of place that nightmares are born in. also, why does everyone here have something to say to him? please just let him do his job so he can go back to the ditzy little tavern and take a nap.

the LIs (DISCLAIMER: my hunter’s opinions are Not My Own and also are often objectively bad):

ezra is too nice to still be alive, welcoming strangers into his home at night in the dark. 

finn is hotheaded and although theo graciously nodded at his offering of the clan’s help, theo would rather die than accept it and have to risk getting physically pinned to a wall again. 

august is a fucking asshole and theo’s already listing all the ways he can bend rules without breaking them to make their life a fucking nightmare. 

theo’s pretty sure piper is jealous of him and also no wonder she couldn’t solve the murders if she takes everything so personally all the time. 

theo literally could not care less about alkar (unfortunately for me), took his “don’t trust anyone, especially me” to heart, and basically figures he’ll never see him again.

as for omen, theo just wants to know if that tail really does have a mind of its own. does omen know it Does That? does he try to stop it? curiouser and curiouser.

16. Do they have any tattoos or piercings?

no and no. theo claims it’s because ornamentation is vain and useless and he doesn’t care enough about things like that, but in reality he considered it once and figured that with all his freckles, his skin and face are Busy Enough Already.

6. What are their strengths? Weaknesses? Are they aware of them/do they try to compensate for them?

theo is a bit of a macgyver. he’s good at improvisation, and can turn a couple of feathers and a bit of string into something helpful for a given situation. he has encyclopedic knowledge about herbs and crystals- he’s no witch and certainly no ezra, but what little can be done with those things without magic, he can do.

however he is bad at People. he is terrible at people. he doesn’t read them well, he’s oblivious to many social cues, and he’s naturally blunt and somewhat awkward. the only reason he’s survived hunter hierarchy is that he watched some of his peers join up with him and he wears their politeness and deference like an ill-fitting costume. outside of professional context, he has no idea how to relate to people. he does know this about himself, but he likes to pretend he doesn’t need anyone else, so it doesn’t matter and he doesn’t care. spoiler alert: he is wrong.

13. What are their specialties? Do they have preferred weapons?

he’s a fucking nerd, first of all, so his specialties are anything he can do cerebrally. he’s a good investigator, which is why he’s in lunaris- he’s no sherlock holmes, but he likes mysteries, and he has a great eye for detail. he’s not physically unskilled, but he doesn’t feel half as comfortable physically fighting as he feels with weaseling his way out of a fight. when he has to fight, he has a pretty standard-issue sword and shield which he uses unexceptionally but proficiently.

lmaoooo you know i’ve not done any posting about him as i’ve adapted him for wtnc, but theodore kratochvil is my main hunter atm, and Oh Boy. here’s a short list of example scenarios!!!
