I… might need the recipe for Old Thymer… (unless it’s an actual infused liquor, in which case I need to find it at my local liquor-procurement-location)
This is the basic recipe, however the one I had was from Bar Taco in Stamford, CT, (warning, that link has autoplay music) and they made their own thyme infused simple syrup and stuck a sprig of thyme in the glass as well. It was a glorious thing to all of my senses... the smell of it before it hit my tongue, the wondrous flavors... Lord, I loved that drink. The Port Chester, a gin based drink I also had there, was lovely as well, but the Old Thymer has my heart.
