Amaterasu was my third cosplay I ever made, made back in 2012, and the first to involve major sewing. My mom helped me make this with an old simplicity pattern for the kimono, cause I didn't know how to make a full fursuit lol. The mask was the best part of this cosplay, I still have it! Made from foam, ductape, cheap fur,fabric softener and paint, clay and model magic for the mouth (which did actually move, but not well haha). This cosplay also had her reflector that doubled as a backpack.
