Old Cut Diamond MEDERU ではダイヤの本質的な魅力は、輝きではなく透明感にあると考えます。手仕事の時代、硬いダイヤは現代のブリリアントカットのように細かなカットはできませんでした。ゆえに当時のダイヤの表情は反射が少なく、輝きというよりも潤んだ光のよう で、人肌に溶け込む透明感が特徴です。この古いカットの自然さを生かし、日常のためのダイヤとしてご提案しているシリーズが〈Old-cut diamond〉です。今季はブラウンダイヤの1点ものを中心にお仕立てしています。
