Tavros robo legs (old cosplay)

If you're one of the people I've ignored when you asked about my tavros robo legs IM SO SORRY i honestly dont know what to answer...!!! It was three years ago and i dont remember well enough to explain how I made them. </3 I want to make videos explaining cosplay things I've done but I'll need to get ready for that and find pictures to show or it would just be a total mess that no one woul understand...!! Also I've only made a few youtube vids and scared. So forgive me and please understand that those damn legs took three months and I was just lucky they turned out good and didn't use a proper pattern at all... May I ask what wig you used for your Tom cosplay from Star vs The Forces of Evil?

Omg it was a really cheap one from eBay and it’s pretty bad haha. I’m planning on getting a new better one and when I do I’ll let you know wich one, deal?

For dead!Tavros, is the harness expensive to get for the lance? If so, do you have alternatives for making the lance stay up under a shirt?

If you’ve read my tutoral on the Tavros lance and the harness you can see that I got it from my mom, so I didn’t pay anything for it! I guess it’s a little expencive to get a new one since its actually meant for an instrument... But otherwise I’m sure you could make your own, really, all i needed was a base! And the metal straps I got from my dad’s garage, so idk the price for those either. But I’m guessing they aren’t too expensive. He probably got them at a car store or something. They’re rough and not pretty and he had a whole roll of it, lol

What you do need is something that won’t make it wobble. Something that the lance can stick too that doesn’t move. Or it will bounce when you walk!Hope this was of some help... And again: SORRY for late reply 3

hello i was wondering how you did the shoes in your tavros robot leg tutorial

The roboleg feet are shoes with a wide, high heel (I wanted to be taller) and they are covered in foam that I paintde just like i did with the rest of the legs! :)

Hi! Sorry to bother you i guess you get a lot of questions about your dead tavros cosplay but i was wondering what shirt you used for him because i cant see to find anything with a backwards button up thank you for reading!!!

I bought a t-shirt and cut up the back! Then i put velcro on the edges, so that I could but it back together again~ It was then hidden with the open shirt tavros has, so i put on one shirt from the front of my body, and one from the back~! Simple and a clever solution, if i may say so myself!

do you have a pattern for the Tavros legs?

You mean the robotic ones, right??

I do not, unfortunatelt! :( My tip is to take some paper or something that can be easily wrapped around your leg, and then kinda just take a pen and draw the way you like it! Remember that the places where your body is going to bend have to be left alone, such as your knee, your hips and ankle.

Also keep in mind that you might want the pieces to overlap each other.

Hey! I had seen your cosplay and that you were cosplaying as beast boy. I'm new to cosplaying and so is everyone in my titans cosplay group, and can't seem to find a tutorial on how to make his suit, so I was wondering how you were going to go about making it? Thanks! Haha

Oh that's great!! Welcome to the cosplay world, i wish you and your group the best of luck!To answer your question: I still haven't figured it out yet! Obviously, it's not made yet. But I will definitely post progress-pics so that you can see how i do it. I need it before the summer, so I guess I'll start within some months. I hope I can be of help before you need your suit, but I can't give you any good tips at the moment! :(

(I don't want to give you false advice that might fail later...!)I promise to try and make a good tutorial or a step-by-step when the time comes. There really aren't very many good Beast Boy tutorials at all!!!

Sorry for being a bother, and im sure you get this a lot, but do you have the measurements/"pepakura" files for your Tavros Robot legs? i know they are hand made ( and by the way, they are the best iv ever seen! ) Im going to a hollows eve party, and i would like to up do my tavros from last year.. but never the less, did you have any written or scanned patterns ?

Im very very truly sorry i don’t have them scanned or digital in any form! :’(

The pattern were made on paper messured right onto my legs, so i never needed a digital version and i don’t think i still have all the pieces. Im very sorry!

If it is any help at all, here is a picture of almost all the pieces. I don’t know if it is of any use, but maybe you can get an idea and make your own pattern!

(The red parts are the backs, exept the two lower ones, those belong to the front with the brown ones. Note that there is no knee-piece here! Made those way later than theese)
