Chapter 1
Upon a Chance | A Sensei wolf (Cobra Kai) x OC (older, European exchange student from Miyagi-Do that has a past she's trying to run from)
Looking up at the enormous building where the Sekai Taikai was to commence, Lena raised a brow in interest at it, before her attention is pulled by a soft hand on her shoulder.
"You coming?" Sam asks with a quirk to her lips, which Lena returns with a nod.
"Yeah, just a second, I just have to get my bag, but you go join them," Lena softly replies.
"You sure, I really don't mind waiting-" Sam then kindly starts to say, before Lena interupts her with a soft exclaim in amusement.
"Sam, I'll be fine, go join Miguel at the entrance, he's been boring his gaze at us, but specifically at your back I gather, to get a move one, the impatient kid." She then chuckles, all the while she turns her head to the person in question who then quirks his head at them like a puppy, while he excitedly waves his hand at them to join him.
Sam then giggles at the sight of him before she turns her head towards her friend with a wide smile.
"Alright, see you then."
"See ya, love."
Sam then walks away before she quickly turns towards her with a raised brow all the while she point a finger at Lena, who only raises her brow at this, the amusement clear to see in her brown eyes which had a gold shine to them because of the sunlight.
"But we are going to share a room, right?"
"Of course, I gave you my word, didn't I? Just send me a text of which room's going to be ours if I do take too long, alright?" Lena then cheekily answers, all the while she then ushers Sam away.
"Now shoo, go to the puppy, I can feel his separation anxiety from here."
"Lena!" Sam then exclaims in afront, which the girl in question only laughs at.
"At last she arrives!" Eli then exclaims when Lena enters the building, all the while he pulls an arm around her shoulder to usher her to their awaiting group who only look at her in amusement, at her tardiness that is.
"Really with the way you were taking so long, I'd expected there to be more bags than the two you're carrying, Lena." He then continues, all the while he looks at the carrierbag and backpack in question.
"Very funny," Lena chuckles, all the while she then softly jams her elbow in his gut, to dislodge his arm from her person, which he does with a grin, while he waves his hands at her as to not offend her.
"Where are the senseis?" She then curiously asks, while she greets the others.
"Getting our rooms." Robby then answers with a shake to his head at the way it's been taking some time now.
"Figures, anyways, anyone else want a snack while we wait?" Lena then quips after she leaves her bags on the ground, and waves her wallet around.
"Heck yeah!" Devon then exclaims, while Hawk pats Lena on the back with a smile
"Obviously I do, "
While the rest only shake their heads with a smile, which Lena only nods her head to.
"Alright, only us three then, what do you want then?"
"You choose."
"Surprise me, I trust you," Both Devon and Eli answer at the same time, which she then laughs at before she turns to get them their snacks.
Being nonethewiser of the group meeting with the new Cobra Kai group.
Having the snacks in hand, Lena then turns to walk towards her friends, but she sees that they're talking heatedly with another group, which Lena quirks her brow at in interest, before she notices their jackets- Cobra Kai.
Which then made her tighten her jaw at this, for this couldn't mean anything good. She thought before she spotted a familiar face amidst the group.
"Yoon?" She asks in confusion, which pulls their attention away from one another, with the person in question raising his head towards her in surprise.
"Lena?"
She then strides over with a smirk, all the while she punches his shoulder in greeting.
"In the flesh, I guess we're competing once more against each other then," She then tells him with a laugh, which he laughs at,
"I guess so," he simply says before he then pulls her into a hug, which she returns.
"I didn't know you did Karate." He then tells her after he pulls away from her with a raised brow, which she smiles at in answer.
"I started a few months ago, be ready to be beaten by yours truly."
"Pfff in your dreams-"
"Oiii, who are you?" Kwon then snidely interupts the two from continuing. While
"Yeah, Lena, how do you know him?" Demitri then asks, all the while he ignores the mean look of the captain of the Cobra Kai.
"...Did you know that she could speak Korean?" Eli then whispers to Miguel, the both- well their whole group looking shocked at what they just witnessed, especially after they had been harrased by the group in question.
The two old friends then look towards their group, before they return their gaze to one another, asking the other on how to proceed. Seeing as it seems that they were on opposing sides now.
"We're old friends, we met at the International Math Olympiad when we were younger, it was a tie between the both of us and we've been friends ever since. And it seems that we're going to compete once more against one another, good luck, old friend. You'll need it." Lena then explained all the while she looked at the two groups, all the while she then ended it with a smirk to Yoon, who only rolls his eyes at her, before he pushes against her with his side, which Lena glares at, at the fact that he now towers over her, before she jams her elbow in his side, which he grimaces at in pain before he straightens himself, with a serious look on his face.
"I don't need luck, but you will, because we will win." He then steadfastly answers before he told his group that they should go. Which they after a hesitant glance at Kwon then do. With the captain looking at Lena in interest, a smirk forming on his lips, all the while he moves away, which Lena only raises her brow at, before she turns her attention back to her friends who are looking at her in confusion, with raised brows of their own.
"What?"
"What, 'what?', what was that!" Demitri then explodes before he moves his gaze towards the backs of the leaving Cobra Kai group.
"You're fraternising with the enemy! " He then tells her in a hushed, but hurried tone.
"'Fraternising' with the enemy, how would I do that when I didn't even know Yoon would be here, stop being so dramatic man." Lena then huffs at him, before she turns her gaze towards the others, her gaze meeting Miguel's.
"And trust me, friends or not friends, I'll not let anyone stop me from winning this thing, nor should you, right?" She tells them.
Miguel then nods, now looking like his usual fired up self,
"That's right, we're going to win this."
The others then nod in agreement, before Devon then curiously looks towards Lena,
"Why did you never tell me you could speak Korean, girl, you do know I'm Korean, right?" she tells her in an almost accusing tone, which Lena shruggs at.
"I don't know, you never asked, nor did I want to assume that you were fluent in it."
"Okay fair, but omg girl, we could have had secret conversations without the others being the wiser of it!" Devon then exclaims in faux grief, all the while she dramatically holds onto the older girls arms, which Lena outwardly laughs at.
"And of course that's what you're sad about, Devon, " Sam then says with a shake to her head, a smile already on her face at the scene they were making, which the others chuckle at, which was what the Senseis returned to.
"Ah Lena, right on time!" Sensei Daniel then exclaims with a smile in greeting, which she returns with a nod.
"Yeah yeah, glad it didn't take 'till midnight for you to get here, Aler." Johnny then greeted her with an amused huff, which made the girl roll her eyes at the joke.
"Okay now, take your cards to your rooms and get ready." Daniel then tells them, which the group nods to.
"You can have the bathroom now, Lena." Sam calls over her shoulder while she checks her phone for the umpteenth time, before she raises her head towards the younger girl who has an understanding look on her face, which then saddens.
"Is she still not answering?"
"No." Lena then replies, the girl in question of course being Tory, who had been ignoring everyone ever since she had left, which Lena understood, but that didn't make her not worry about her.
Especially when she noticed that Tory hadn't been at her home.
Lena then heads towards the bathroom.
Well that was chapter one, I know we still haven't seen Wolf in this but the meeting will (hopefully) happen in the next chapter

EDIT: I just realised that the start of the tournament didn't really start like this, but lets pretend it did and that the whole speech etc of the organiser(s) came afterwards m'kay 😅
